I have been out of work for nearly six months and have had nearly all my job applications rejected. I have student loans due, seemingly no prospects and I don't know what to do. Please pray hard for me that I may find employment soon.
Yep, prayers up, but come here to North Dakota. Jobs are plentiful.
I hope you find employment soon. What a rotten 4 years. Obummer has put me out of business. High production costs and inabilty to charge enough to cover it. By June, I will have sold my last product, and I’ll be searching for work too. I pray both of us are guided to the right jobs.
I’ve been there, although without the student loans. I never got those. What I ended up doing was getting favors from relatives. Ended up taking a job with relatives.

Hang in there. I was in the same boat as you, just found employment. A few tips:
1) Don’t discount jobs that you think are “beneath” you.
2) Take on several jobs and any side work you can.
3) Remember that (a) God is good, (b) God is in control, and (c) God is victorious. Have faith and trust in Him. I will pray for you.
If you can’t pay your student loan-—
There is an option called forbearance. You can get your loan delayed
for 6 months (or another term). However, the interest still accumulates.
But your credit is still intact.
Still, it might be good to call your student loan company to check it out.
You have to sign a forbearance agreement.

You haven’t filled out your Home Page on FReeRepulic so we don’t know what State you live and you don’t tell us what job you are looking for. Please be specific and you may find a job.
Prayers going up. I hope you find something soon. My husband and I have found ourselves in the same situation, but fortunately have enough in savings for the time being.
A couple of people in our condo area are currently unemployed and the condo board hired them to do the things that the lawn care company was not keeping up with. Just and idea.
Yep, and get food stamps, etc.
Why not? We are losing the moochers vs. producers battle.
Yes, I’m pessimistic and cynical. At my age I’m tired of this fight. We on the conservative side have no real help. If 2010 was proof nothing matters, then I’m through.

Many, many small business owners are almost unemployed with the economy in it’s current state. I’ve spoken to many who haven’t had work in months.
