Barack Obama joined Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago purely for political reasons, according to long-term member of the congregation who knew the Obamas.
Obama may say hes a Christian, but hes not, said the member, identified for this story as Rose. Joining Trinity for Obama was a political decision, not a religious one.
Rose pointed out that when Obama came to Chicago after graduating from Columbia University, he was an outsider, albeit with important contacts in Chicagos African-American power structure.
She noted Obamas mentor in Hawaii was Frank Marshall Davis, the Communist Party USA member and activist who made his reputation in Chicago.
Davis and Vernon Jarrett, the father-in-law of senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett, were close friends in Chicago and colleagues at the Chicago Defender and the Chicago Star, two communist-run newspapers during the 1940s.
In early 1948, Davis and Vernon Jarrett served together on the publicity committee of the Citizens Committee to Aid Packing-House Workers, a communist-organized labor union that represented workers in the meatpacking industry.
Think about it, Rose said, Obamas Kenyan father abandoned him. In Hawaii, Obama fills that in with Frank Marshall Davis. In Chicago, its Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
She pointed out that Davis admitted to being bisexual, and there are rumors in the South Side Chicago community that Wright is bisexual. ......

As far as I’m concerned, there IS no Jesus in Wright’s church.
Dots being connected.
Out of the mouths of two or three witnesses...
He is a long-time political supporter of President Barack Obama. Mikva offered Obama a law clerk position in his judicial office after Obama graduated from Harvard Law School; Obama declined the offer. US Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan was one of his law clerks.[4] Mikva became Obama’s political advisor and suggested he learn more effective public speaking from observing preachers. Mikva said of Obama: “He listened to patterns of speech, how to take people up the ladders. It’s almost a Baptist tradition to make someone faint, and, by God, he’s doing it now.

Well not sure what kind of 'Christian' Wright, his church or his followers are either? Not sure what kind of 'Christianity' Black Liberation Theolgy is for that matter.
Couldn’t agree more. Wright and his church is what happens when you preach a social gospel instead of chapter by chapter, verse by verse through the Bible.
Amen to that brother.
Though I despise Rev. Wright...nobody has called him a liar and Rev. Wright says Barack came to him with a head-full of Islam mush.( Remember, Rev. Wright is an “apostate” himself)
Wright's "church" is nothing more than a cult, and I believe that most people here saw through the 0bama's little charade to cover his muzzie background a long time ago.
I have been a Baptist for all of my 71 years. I have NEVER heard of or have seen anyone faint in church due to the speaker.

Many years ago I learned that joining the biggest, most influential church in town was important if you wished to open a store in that town.
If you opened another store in a different town, you joined the biggest church there.
So a business owner might be a Baptist in one town and a Methodist in another town.
Anyone who doubts this should see the BIG BAPTIST CHURCHES in Rogers and Springdale, Arksansas. It is common knowlege that big business deals are made in the pews there as they are made on the local golf courses.
NSS (last S is Sherlock)
Willard didn’t join Smith’s “church” to follow Jesus, either
You wont find Him in Smith’s “church” either...
