Very valid points - something I always thought of - but accepted that as long as we were Christian - it didn’t matter - but that was erroneous and division will and up to this point, lead to failures...
All Empires fall, even single religion ones.
That is a HOME RUN, and exactly why we are in the trouble we are today. All people in Leadership must be held to the highest standards, no excuses.
Many protestant (if not ALL the recognized 'protestant' denominations) too claim only ONE savior and salvation ... by grace through faith .. and that not of (ourselves) .. it is the gift of God.

Religious pluralism is a foundation stone of the Republic. But it still requires a common adherence to certain principles. Among these are respect for the conscience of each citizen and the choices he or she makes as to the form of worship or lack thereof and that the exercise of those choices does not impede or infringe on others' identical rights. For the most part Catholics, Jews, Protestants of every stripe, and the odd Bahai and Buddhist have been able to thrive together under the umbrella of the Constitution and our common ingrained sense of fairness.
But the twin viruses of Marxism and Islam, neither of which brooks competition, are attacking that compact and we don't know yet if the patent will survive.
The problem with America is the American people who are no longer very “American”.

Currently, the Central, semi-Communist, Federal Government borrows 40 cents on every Federal dollar spent.
Currently, the Federal Welfare State accounts for 40 cents for every Federal dollar spent.
BTW, the baseline support for Obama is always above 40 percent.
Who among us can endure a 40 % loss every year? Oops, I forgot, we already have that rate with the IRS Corporate tax rate.
And yet many empires that had only one religion fell the same way we are.

Let the author be reminded that there is also an inclination of human beings, NOT to take an argument to its final and most natural conclusion.

Even those two threats will FALL.
America was founded on the ideas of individual liberty, limited government and private property rights. It is falling because it has abandoned those principles totally. Property rights? That one is gone, gone, gone. Individual liberty is eroding in the name of the good of the people. And limited government is a faint memory. Religious plurality is a consequence of liberty. Soon the only religion left will be statism.
America needs to make things.
Stop buying things from China.
Make things. If we have a problem, it is because we are training another country to replace us.
Buying the stuff they make, while we pay people to sit around and do nothing.
America make things.
The only country or kingdom that lasts forever is not in this world.
Even now China’s economy is begining to slow down. It too was built as a house of cards.
