Prayers lifted....
Tons of prayers!
O great St. Peregrine, you have been called The Mighty, The Wonder-Worker, because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.
For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of Don W whom we entrust to you.
Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.
Amen.
Lord Jesus, be with Thy servant in his hour of trial and grant him healing.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
My thanks to you all for your prayers and support.
Darryl’s chemotherapy to slow his immune system down seems to have had a good effect, and his doctors hope he will be home in the next couple of days. The prednisone has made it so he can WALK again!
It’s still going to be a long haul, but with luck and G_d’s loving hand, this too shall pass.
Thank you again, and may G_d continue to bless us all.
I have a short road trip ahead of me, so I won’t be here for a few days unless I luck into wifi in the mountains. Washington, Oregon, BC, Alberta and possibly Saskatchewan are all on the book for a 10 day drive (4 with our mother...).
I thank you all for your prayers, as would Darryl if he knew of your involvement, but I must say goodnight, as I have to be at the dock by 0520, and it’s LATE!
Thank you for the good update. More prayers for continued improvement!
We’ll continue to pray for Darryl, Don.
In Jesus’ Holy Name.
Amen.
BTTT
Sounds like you're going to need to be covered in prayer for the next 10 days! LOL Safe trip. And glad things are looking up for Darryl.
We’ll keep praying. Travel safely.
Thank you for the good news report, praying that the healing continues.
May God keep watch, FRiend, and see you through your travels!
Alleluia.
I know it’s not over, but this is very good news.
Stay safe.
Thank you for the praise update; praying that he continues to heal.
Thanks for the good news update. Prayers continuing.
Thanks for the update. The news is good, and I will continue to pray for Darryl’s speedy and complete recovery. Have a safe trip.
I’m so happy to read this! Please tell him to eat right, to follow doctor’s orders and to never ever give up.
Prayers sent.
My most profound and deepest thanks go to all of you. Darryl also thanks you for the love and support given to himself and I.
He was originally released after 8 days, but when lab results from 3 days at home arrived, he was readmitted.
They ht him with some heavy duty chemotherapy drugs to slow his immune system, and his body has responded well.
He was able to work for three hours each day last week, and spent the last 2 days helping me stew and can 130 lbs of tomatoes.
The support and genuine concern shown by so many “strangers” once again affirms my faith in G_d and my fellow man.
JIM ROBINSON! As if John didn’t have enough to do, is there any way the respondents to a thread could be automatically listed to the original poster without having to go through each and every post? The truncated “to:” line works great for keeping bandwidth down, but...
Once again, thank you for a truly awesome site, and my thanks to all who responded to my request.
Thanks everyone for praying...please continue to do so!
