What a lousy excuse for his epic fail on that Larry King interview.
How he speaks when put on the spot shows his true character, not what he says when he realizes the PR mess it landed him in and what it cost him in credibility and income.
This guy is a razzle-dazzle snake oil salesman. Heavy on creepiness and seriously lacking in Theology.

Use the above link to see a public video of Joel Osteen asking for people to accept Jesus, as he does normally at his Church. The Broadcast does not show all that happens on a Sunday...On TV you do not see everything that happens in a church on a regular basis, and with the new law passed by Congress you won’t, in fact a Preacher being on TV can be discriminated against and turned down for a broadcast, and or edited.
I think all of you, if you have any integrity at all, should watch this as it exposes your lies about who Osteen really is and what he preaches. May God forgive you for you know not what you do!

The point is that Osteen’s message is one of Your Best Life Now. That’s a far cry from “Pick up your cross and follow me”

There are lots of people proclaiming Jesus Christ Kackikat.......heck even the Muslims acknowledge Jesus.
You are certainly free to watch and believe what Olsteen preaches.....I choose not to.
Why should I be entertained by Osteen when I saw him for what he is when he first hit the show road......
He’s maintained his cheer leading section from the start and built his empire on the backs of his viewers. Nothings changed except more hand over their pocketbooks and sit ringside to watch the show.

My point still stands. People aren’t hating on Joel because of Jesus in him, they are hating on him because they consider him to be a charlatan, a snake, and a false teacher. None of this condones hate. And I agree with the verse you quoted. But my point still stands.

I watch him and his so called sermons are worth a warm bucket of spit.
It’s sad when Christians hate. But it seems like some people scream “hate” where there is none. I will call out the error of Joel Osteen’s false teaching, but I certainly don’t hate him. My encouragement to you is to make sure you aren’t classifying opposition to his message as hate for the man.
Believe as you will, but there is nothing false about asking people to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.
