DNA and The Book of Mormon Explained full-length video
FAIR MORMON ^ | Published on Feb 18, 2013

Miraculous claims surrounding the coming forth of the Book of Mormon are an evidence of the prophetic calling of Joseph Smith. Critics intent on discrediting the Restoration point to DNA studies on indigenous American peoples in an attempt to expose Joseph, the Book of Mormon, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as frauds. Claiming that scientific evidence excludes any possibility that Middle Eastern or ancient Jewish travelers came to the Americas in antiquity, such critics attempt to sow seeds of doubt in the minds of Latter-day Saints and those of other faiths concerning the authenticity of the Book of Mormon as an ancient religious text.

Are these studies credible? Do the data actually show what the critics claim? Do they discredit the Book of Mormon, or is there biological and other scientific evidence that supports the claims that it is indeed an ancient record of a people that once inhabited the Americas?

The Foundation for Apologetic Information and Research (FAIR) interviews scholars and scientists to answer these important questions and reveals the faith-affirming truth that not only are the critics' conclusions and methods flawed, but that there is credible scientific evidence in favor of the Book of Mormon as an ancient religious text.

Jim...I am no fraud. I have my faith, and it is in Jesus Christ, and I came by it through my own sincere prayer and answers to it.

There are frauds, deceivers, and wolves in sheeps clothing in all gorups...sadly, that is man’s nature, and the only thing that can overcome it, for any of us, is the atonement and redemption of Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

I respect and rejoice in anyone who witnesses of and testifies of Jesus Christ and His atonement...even if they are not numbered in my particular denomination. Christ knows His own, and He sees and judges the heart, and He will lead them to Him.

No other can.

I have been a member of the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 43 yewars now. I have known those in the church who did not seem to lean on, or act in a way that reflected Jesus Christ...but the vast majority of members who are faithful and coming to church and seeking Jesus Christ, are good, Christian people...and it is Jesus Christ who will judge them accordingly, as he will all men.

As I have said, many times, God bless you Jim, for your site here and your love for this country and work and service on its behalf...and for your own faith in our Savior.

I am your brother in all of those causes.

Just don’t push it on FR. Those who try to push Joe Smith’s false gospel on FR will get it pushed right back at them. FR stands for Truth!!

Speaking of the missing Cureloms, I posted this in the past...

Mormonism....all hat, no Curelom

As dawn breaks over mesoAmerica, the trumpeting screams of the hairy curelom echo across the surrounding cites.

Iron-workers interrupt their production of vast metal works, cities that stretched from sea to shining sea hush in anticipation of another wonderful day in mormon-land.

Just last week, the mormon Jesus had visited to let native Americans know they were really Jews! What a wonderful time to be alive!!!

Flash forward.

America today: If a native American Curelom was watching, he would have a tear in his eye...

All original cities, vanished, leaving nothing behind - not even a cigar butt!

Not even a single foundation of a single iron-worker’s furnace remains.

Not even a single metal work produced here.

And, as it turns out, Cureloms didn’t have bones. Apparently, Cureloms had the structure of jellyfish and today, no evidence remains of their once proud reign!

Only the savage cry of the curelom remains in the brains of mormons who “just believe”, despite any physical evidence.

Only the ring of the ancient iron-workers hammer echos in the minds of mormons who “just believe”, despite the amazing disappearance of millions of metal works.

Only the cheerful laughter remains in the minds of mormons, who insist millions of people lived in cities across America - because Joseph Smith said so!

As it turns out, they too, had the structure of jellyfish.

No bones.
No metalworks.
No cities.
No Cureloms.

A tear wells up in the corner of the imaginary Curelom, envisioned within the brain of mormons today.

And the Jewish Indians?

Gone. Replaced with imposters who no longer carry Jewish DNA.

Ah, but the piercing echo of the Curelom scream remains!!!

Mormons will testify! Oh, how mormons will testify of the Curelom. Joe said!!! It MUST be true.

ampu :-)

Mel Brooks was the Indian chief, in that movie he also played other characters in, and was much a writer of. But you know that.

I don't think he was deliberately mocking Mormonism, though in that movie he and others made fun of stereotypes generally. Pretty much anything was fair game, if it could be sent up for a laugh.

What is it that is hateful?

You know how Mormonism likes to re-define words.

Hat-ful: The stating of facts about Mormonism that are not uplifting or helpful to the advance of Zion.

Jim, many of LDS has refrain from posting on this but it seems when the LDS stop, a few others have daily non-stop continued to malign us 24/7!

And we do a darned good job of exposing Mormonism.

Just IMAGINE if we had 55,000 minions instead of just a handful!!

In what way?

It appears that your OWN leaders and prophets are the ones MALIGNING you!!!

Do ANY of you "damned " SLC mormons reading what Brigham has said about your eventual DAMNATION, who has gotten any information from your church, that old B.Y. was:

1. Speaking the very words of GOD
2. Drunk
3. On peyote
4. REALLY upset at SOMEone
5. Or just running his mouth as a man: a mere mortal, prone to the slings and arrows that beset us all or do you
6. just accept the FACT that you are, truly, damned for not following your Scripture found in D&C 132:58-66?

I am your brother in all of those causes.

Indeed you are; and I salute you.

It's a shame (in my opinion) that your faith in CHRIST is clouded by Mormonism.

You have seen the factual things that I post; and it is up to you what you will do with the information.

Speaking of elephants;

What do you call an elephant who wants to go to medical school to be a skin doctor???

A pachydermatologist.
