I propose that He did not. Your not making your position clear and I would appreciate it if you would help me understand what it is exactly that you want me to think about.

Does anyone actually believe a Catholic priest in cahoots with a known satanist could consecrate a communion host with the intent to send it to them for their "black mass"? I ask again, is Almighty God powerless to the whims of evil men and unable to circumvent their nefarious plans? It isn't at all comparable to the crucifixion, since that is the main thing Jesus came to do - be a propitiation for our sins. Those who fly into a tizzy over this kind of thing are playing right into the hands of those who ONLY do it for the effect. Like a spoiled child throwing a tantrum, the more attention they get the more they will continue.
The fact that Catholics are willing to push back will make such public blasphemies less likely in the future.
No, I foresee that the atheists behind this hoax will gleefully repeat this kind of thing in order to provoke Catholics into behaving irrationally and also into making statements contrary to the Constitution. The number of Catholics commenting on this topic across various threads who have made ignorant comments about the First Amendment is disturbing, especially on a site like FR where most of us are Constitutionalists.
Seriously, I am left to wonder at those who think giving the government the power to silence (phony) satanists won't be almost instantly used to silence anyone else.

This is a valid concern and on top of it, there really isn't any way to determine the host returned was indeed consecrated. The Satanists could have pulled a switcheroo and not returned the consecrated host or even be lying about the entire thing. They are Satanists after all.
It's very dark times we are approaching now. Quite frankly the fact this kind of sadism has never been so public before is quite telling. It says something about the continued degradation of our society, don't you think? That now Satanists feel free enough to openly brag when they have a consecrated host, and that they intend to desecrate it publicly?
Until recently Satanists kept pretty mum about this kind of stuff. Not that it didn't happen before but they knew if they were so public about it, the entire community's sensibilities would be so shocked there would be a much larger backlash than they are feeling now. From both Catholic and Protestant.
It's sad there isn't such a perceived threat anymore. All in the name of "religious freedom". I guess that's become more important than a community banding together to help their neighbors.
Let me be clear, it is distressing that the force of the State is now a resort for the injured Catholics in such a situation. That's a sign of what I'm talking about though: that a community has become so uncaring that a group of people feels their only recourse is to appeal to the State for a solution.
It's a very bad sign for everyone, with no real hope on the horizon. Becaise it would be just as much of a sin to do nothing (on the Catholic's part) If we don't start simply caring again, we are in for a world of hurt. Caring at least about those who may hold different doctrines but at least aren't Satanists.
About the priest, as anyone who goes to Mass regularly knows, the consecrated hosts (that aren’t used after Mass) are kept in a tabernacle as a surplus for the next Mass. It’s true the tabernacle is locked but it would be very easy for a parish priest (who’s really a Satanist) to go there after hours and take one from the tabernacle. So it’s not that unbelievable at all.
One solution may be to mandate usage of all consecrated hosts at each Mass and never have any left over. This is not a requirement though at this time. Maybe it will be down the road if this continues to be a problem.
