The whole issue is settled if we stick to what the Holy Spirit called Mary in Scripture, that is *mother of Jesus*.

Scripture calls Mary the Mother of Jesus yes. Jesus is both God and Man. If Jesus is God and Man and Jesus died on the cross, both God and Man died on the cross. I am confused as to how in one verse Jesus refers to God and Man and in the next Jesus just refers to Man.

One would think after incessently posting “Jesus said eat my flesh” they would catch also that Jesus more often said “it is written”. It seems that list cannot be posted enough for them to catch on. Keep up the good work.

Now while I think SOME(not all!) Catholics treat Mary as practically a 4th member of the Godhead(a QUADRINITY?) and I have said that before, but I don’t think that is the true position of the Catholic Church.

While it is not the *official* teaching of the church in so many words, in practice, it is. And unofficially, there's plenty of evidence that that is exactly how they see Mary, many of which include statements made by popes themselves.

Not every Catholic considers her in that way, but some do, seeing her as co-mediator co-redemtrix and far more (the label/titles for "Mary" go on for days, one could scarcely read them all lest they go blind)

It actually goes beyond *some* Catholics seeing her as co-medatrix and co-redemptrix.

It's in their catechism; the official, binding on Catholics to believe or risk their salvation, document.
