>>While it may sound old fashioned, all the issues were facing today is due to Gods wrath being poured out on us.<<
Wrath or chastisement? God's wrath is never visited on the faithful.

It's the Catholics who never know if they are saved before they die. True born again Holly Spirit filled Christians rest assured in Christ.

Please show an infallible source that proves that what the Catholic Church calls tradition is what the apostles were referring to.

Where in the Bible does it state the end of apostolic succession?

The greatest of all sins is the presumption of salvation, what we Catholics call Sin Against the Holy Ghost. It is unforgivable.
It dismisses the HOPE in the THREE theological virtues. Actually it dismisses the other two as well when you think about it.

John 10:28, "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand."1 John 5:13, "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
We are kept by the power of God. Not by our own power or effort. You do believe He is able don't you?

I do not believe that the creator and sustainer of the Universe displays anger The Lord does not display anger from His perspective. To Him it is righteous judgment. And, of course, He is correct. To us it is anger and fury. While scripture sometimes talks about "God's anger" or God's wrath...", it is given in terms that we best understand. Thus, when Christ threw the money changers out of the temple (twice), He was displaying righteous judgment but we would say it was an angry reaction.
It isn't any different than a parent correcting a child. While the child might think the punishment is too severe or unfair, a wise parent knows different.

God's wrath is never visited on the faithful. Yes, but believers may suffer the residual effects of a faithless nation that is subject to God's wrath. Jeremiah is just one example.

It is logical and my only question, is the wrath we have today as a nation Gods wrath or is it brought on by our own stupid way of doing things? This is an interesting point. It isn't our "stupid way of doing things". Rather it is our rebellious nature to the things of God. Everyone does what is right in their own eyes. Thus you have people who find no problem in encouraging compassion for transgenders, yet those same people will denounce Christians as being intolerant bigots.

It is ironic to claim Protestants have their own private interpretation of Scripture only to see FRoman Catholics interpreting the Pipes words, the Catechism and all sorts of Catholic teaching.

“The greatest of all sins is the presumption of salvation”
As for those who have accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior........
Galatians 2:21:
“I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”
To: HarleyD
Jesus said the wrath to come is going to be on ALL the people on earth.

You are right but considering we have been warmed for hundreds of years I still think stupid fits real good.
