Malachi 3:6-7::6"For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed. 7"From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from My statutes and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you," says the LORD of hosts. "But you say, 'How shall we return?'
Seems as though his Popness needs to re-read the BOOK again.

If Francis really said that, he has no business being the leader of a vast number of Christians.
God is immutable, by His own Word.

1) God fears nothing and 2) there isn’t anything that’s “new” to God.

“Pope Francis: ‘God is not afraid of new things’”
There are no new things to God. Only to puny fallible man are there new things.

Frances thinks Church dogma is a "living document."

I wonder if he is the 1st Pope to end up in hell for eternity? Sounds to me like he does not believe in the Bible at all. How much further can the world be turned on it's head before we realize that we are indeed living in the end times?
Anybody know what the procedure is for replacing a sitting Pope that has not resigned? Is there a process?

A huge Amen!
Seek God’s Own Word, not mortal man’s “interpretation” of what God wants.

"God is doing a new thing" has been the favorite meme of the homosexual lobby as it has worked to pervert various protestant churches. It worked pretty well in crippling the Episcopalians and elca Lutherans and others, so why not try it on the Catholics. Too bad it's the Pope who is perpetrating this on his own church.

This sounds like the same BS line we hear from libs about homo “marriage.” Liberals are fond of insisting the Constitution is a “living, breathing” document that flexes for change.
The pope seems to be applying that same misguided philosophy to the Bible. I wonder what OTHER sins His Infallibility thinks God is OK with because “changing society.”

God may not be afraid, but he is judgmental.
Why do we think the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah happened?
And it’s going to happen again if the modern world does not change its ways.

As always seems to be the case with this Pope, there's a straw man and/or a distraction.
God is not "afraid" of anything, old or new. Whoever said that he was?
And what does fear have to do with the unchanging word of God who is the same, yesterday, today and forever [Heb 13:8]?
To: Paul46360
He’s right that God is not afraid of sin, if that’s what he’s talking about. God will mercilessly torture the unrepentant depraved in hell and the lake of fire for all eternity.
