Harry Reid: 'We Sure Do Like' Pope Francis
NewsMax ^ | November 26, 2014 | Cathy Burke

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Mormon, says he's an unabashed fan of Roman Catholic Pope Francis.

"We sure do like this new pope," Reid gushed to the The New York Times.

The veteran Democrat acknowledges that he can profess his admiration even though he's "had dealings" with Cardinal Raymond Burke, a powerful Roman Catholic leader who's been demoted twice from key positions by the pope.

The more people that I find like this pope the more I tend to dislike him.

“Both Catholics and Protestants are nothing less than the ‘whore of Babylon’ whom the Lord denounces by the mouth of John the Revelator as having corrupted all the earth by their fornications and wickedness. Any person who shall be so corrupt as to receive a holy ordinance of the Gospel from the ministers of any of these apostate churches will be sent down to hell with them, unless they repent.”

- Mormon Apostle Orson Pratt, The Seer, p. 255

It is a common tactic of the left, in order to marginalize someone on the right, they gather round somebody who has not yet been perceived as someone who has been totally claimed by the right, and they do what Reid is doing. Inferring that someone like Francis may not really be on the right.

By doing so, the left makes the right think that the person they have targeted just "may" be part of the left.

They then take what that person says and create a scenario of sorts which would cause people to question whether this person who is on the right just may be a secret leftist.

They did this especially with JPII and Benedict, so it is no surprise that they are trying to make us all think that Francis is a secret leftist.

This is also a common tactic of the devil.

Stupid demoncraps.

So Francis is being mind-controlled by the Democrats to say the things he says that make him look like a Liberation Theology Leftist?

Harry Reid is a Mormon. What does that tell you?

There is nothing secret about the Pope’s political leanings. His public statements, translated and promulgated on the Vatican website, are evidence enough. He is not a “secret leftist”...nothing secret about it.

Francis is not a secret leftist. He's an open leftist.

The Pope is a fisher of men. Should he cast his net inside the boat or outside the boat?

Oh I know he is LDS, faithful tithepaying Temple recommend holding (about only 5% of LDS hold a recommend). It tells me that LDS have backed of the rhetoric to appear more “Christian” since a common disarming tactic they use is the lie “We don’t attack other churches” when in fact they do.

Reid gushing is a PR move, his beliefs are that the pope (and all other non LDS) is in the hire of Satan.

Then what you are saying is that you take what Harry Reid says at face value?

Yes, I believe Harry Reid truly likes Pope Francis.

I also believe Elton John truly thinks Francis should be “sainted now”.

No the Dems didn’t do this to JPII and BXVI. And yes, Pope Francis is of the left. He is a social justice, liberation theology kind of Pope.

So Harry, you and your demonic-rat friends like the new Pope.
Does that mean your going to stop being pro-abortion; or does it mean you’ll take political advantage of anyone or anything that bolsters your political view?

Pope Francis is the first of a long line of Catholics, Protestants, Evangelicals, and other supposed Christians that actually believe Muslims and Christians worship the same God...

"...I then greet and cordially thank you all, dear friends belonging to other religious traditions; first of all the Muslims, who worship the one God, living and merciful, and call upon Him in prayer, and all of you."

Pope's call out to those who worship the 1 God Allah

Rick Warren says Islam's and Christianity's Gods are same

It seems to me Ried talked more about Cardinal Burke than Pope Francis. And he only did that (talked about Burke) to share some smarmy story about Claire McCaskill.

A real gem that Harry Ried.

Sorry, I should have clarified myself. By Dems I meant the entire media-leftist complex.
