In this season I think often of that extraordinary verse in Isaiah 9:6, “For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given.” Let us be sure of what is being said here. The SON is not born; the Son eternally existed and is GIVEN. The CHILD is BORN and entered our time.

Seems to me Obama’s statement is tantamount to heresy... Yes, it is. What you'd call in baseball/softball an "unforced error". Pretty good giveaway, or "tell".
What someone on the other thread was pointing out was that there are Zero references to Mohammed or "Islam" in the first 60 years of the Arab Empire, and the words used for the conquerors were several (incl. "Saracens"), but chronicles never used the word " Moslem".... Not once.
So the Arabs built the beginnings of their empire with no Mohammed, no Islam, and hey, whaddayaknow, one of their early monumental building has a cross inscribed in the entablature.
Most of the population of Arabia Felix during the early conquests appears, our poster concludes, to have been Christian. How 'bout them apples?
