Not much to say about this man, sad to say. He attacked the Christian faith. Don't know how this article and others calls N.T. Wright "conservative." He's liberal in a lot of ways.

Right about now, I believe Mr. Borg to be quite surprised.

Jesus, meanwhile, remains alive after rising from the dead 2000+ years ago.

Marcus Borg ... I know there is a Star Trek "Resistance is futile" and "you will be assimilated" joke in there somewhere, but I can't make it in light of his death.
Don't know how this article and others calls N.T. Wright "conservative."
For the same reason the Communists call Nazis "right wing". Conservative relative to Borg and his comrades.

I’m sure Jesus will be interested in hearing about all the things in the Bible he didn’t say.

It is appointed onto man once to die, and after this, the judgment. I’m pretty sure that Marcus Borg is convinced right now of the reality of Hell as well as Jesus is Alive!

The "Jesus Seminar" was always good for a few laughs- like the time they voted on whether or not Jesus actually said something in the N.T. based on based on how well they agreed with it. Here is a link to good article exposing the "Jesus Seminar" of which this Borg was first of many.

Borg is one of those liberal theologians who played to the secular crowd for fun and profit. I can’t stand pandering professors, and he was a panderer.
