What people like Marx do is distort the entire orthodox position. Nobody has ever said that everything that persons with homosexual tendencies (I refuse to call them “gay,” because that gives the lobby what it wants is wrong. Simply that active homosexuality is wrong. The Church has always loved the sinner and hated the sin...until now, where we apparently want to give sinners a special definition of themselves that transcends even Mosaic Law and the Gospels.

The Catholic Church is not based on the contemporary beliefs held by certain personages. The Church is based on Christ’s teachings as handed on by Sacred Scripture and the Sacred Tradition that has been developed, expounded and handed on over the centuries.
