Fr. Terry is a priest in the Diocese of Arlington, Virginia. Raised in the Baptist Church, he was later very active in the Assembly of God church before finding his way home to the Catholic Church at the age of 26. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1986 with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1995 he graduated from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, Overbrook, PA, with a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts. That same year he was ordained a priest for the Arlington Diocese. He is the brother of Catholic apologist Tim Staples.
Some people just lack discernment.
You’re right.
Fr. Terrence Staples is not one of them.
Fearless quest of the full Truth, keeping faith and hope and charity.
Catholic Ping!
It is little interest to me where reprobates go to "church" or if they go at all...
It is obvious to the saved here that this man was never saved ..
No one is saved because they are born into a "Christian" family or goes to church, or does good works
John1:12But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Pray they come to Christ and rely on his perfect work instead of where they hang their religious hats.
Since your post is an advertisement for your guy...
Herrrrrrrre’s...Charlie!!!

Yeah, but if you are going to go apostate ... go full apostate with the original.
The guy was ordained a priest! An office not even existent in the New Testament ekklesia of Christ. Per scripture the man doesn’t even qualify to be an elder in the New Testament ekklesia of Christ. They might claim he is “home” in the Catholic Church but that “home” has nothing to do with the “home” true believers are destined for.
AMEN!
Isaiah 64:6:
"We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away."
And...Ephesians 2:8-10:
"8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
I don't get how folks cannot understand this -- how much more plainly can God make it?

D’oh... the dreaded double-tap. Sorry.
But while I’m here .. typo...

“Catholics make the mistake of thinking that we think...”
You could have stopped right there.

‘A name, not a number’
Surrounded by farmland, small parish is like a retreat house
Gretchen R. Crowe | Catholic Herald

Every morning, when the weather’s fine, Father Terry Staples sits on the front porch of the rectory of St. Isidore the Farmer Church in Orange and prays. His view is the small brick church, of which he has been pastor since fall 2009, and acre upon acre of rolling farmland.
Not very efficient, then, are they?
Christ led people to hang their hats on the Catholic rack for one thousand six hundred years before there was a protestant one
