Pretty sick, isn’t it? When does he exhort people to accept Christ as personal Lord and Savior? Does he ever do this?

>> I question the sanity of this pope <<
I watched and listened last night on Italian TV to his reading the message on immigration. The impression I got was not at all of a man lacking in sanity — but rather of a weak, tottering, befuddled, mumbling and possibly senile oldster.
If I had to guess, I’d say that nowadays he’s simply regurgitating material fed to him by a coterie of “liberation theology” leftists whom he brought to the Vatican from Argentina.

There’s going to be a lot less Catholics with this Pope. I may be guilty of a lot of sins, but seeking to block illegal immigration isn’t one of them.
Why doesn’t the Pope set up more Christian missions in the countries where the illegals are from. The Church could use all that money they are currently using for climate change and social justice and actually use it to help the poor like Mother Teresa did.

Dems don’t need to worry about a Platform Committee next summer, he’s already written it for them.

“Institutions” need to ask for God’s forgiveness?
Really?
I thought our relationships with God were personal and individual.

Peter the Roman should house illegals in all of the buildings at Vatican City. Practice what you preach, Francis.

Catholics should seek Gods forgiveness
As you no doubt know, those of us who don't wear pointy red hats don't get a vote. Though I suspect a sizeable number will leave as a result of this.
Even I have to think about it.

Ditching Papal infallibility would bring Catholics and Protestants closer to being able to mend their differences.
90% of Catholics ditched that a long time ago.

Hmm...Having a formal process for accepting immigrants in order to maintain that country’s sovereignty, is wrong?
I’m hoping this is another liberal misrepresentation of his position.

The Bible hasn’t changed but Catholic leadership has. The choice is easy. Follow God or the pope. One can’t do both.

Please describe these "evils" you were warned about.
You do realize it was our Lord Jesus who founded the church, so be very, very, very careful when you accuse it of any evil. As a suggestion to help you with understanding the faith, the book "Four Witnesses" by Rod Bennett is an excellent read.
Make no mistake, the current occupant of the seat of Peter has to answer to God for his leading of the flock. Pray for his soul. The faithful know the faith and will not be swayed by any false teachings. Those who do succumb to the pagan infiltration are those who truly never knew the faith.

You're most likely right. It's probably a case of left-wing senility rather than outright madness. But then I've always thought Marxists to be deficient in reason.

In my opinion the left started infiltrating the church 30+ years ago. And it was many of those leftest infiltrators which were responsible for the rash of priest rapes.
That SHOULD have been a wake up call to the church leadership at the time and should have been used to clean house from top to bottom of all the commie scum, but instead they just let them be and enabled them to continue to work their way up into the leadership until they had a critical mass to overthrow the last pope and instill one of their own.

This pope isn’t changing anything. The Catholic Church has been harboring illegals for decades just not openly proclaiming anyone who doesn’t to be sinning. It’s the Catholic Church way to incorporate the beliefs of all to attract them into becoming members. This is simply a continuation of the trend in that church that started with supposedly “sanctifying” pagan beliefs, practices, vestments, and rituals.

I’m Catholic and I admit this Pope is off the Rez. But he is old and soon will be gone and we will get a new Pope.
