Sorry to hear about your relatives. Of the many things I can not understand one of the most baffling is that Jews in the US vote democrat. On almost anything I can seem to “get into a person’s mind” and understand their behavior. Not agree with, perhaps but understand. Jews voting democrat is just baffling.
He actually did tell the UN to act with force.
Maybe he should ask FDR?
I have wondered about that also. Obama and this Pope will eventually be replaced. However I believe there are systemic problems that resulted in these men getting those jobs which doesn't bode well for the future.
“Few, if any, knew about the atrocities that were taking place in these death camps. What a putz.”
The “Jewish Death Camps” were largely thought to be unsupported rumors, or propaganda by the German underground, (such as it was). When the Russians liberated the first of the “Death Camps”, Lublin, in Early August 1944, they equated it with their own Work/Death Camps, and while they tried to use it for some propaganda, they didn’t make a big deal out of it.
These camps, including Belzec, Sobibor, and Treblinka had largely already been dismantled in late 1943, because there weren’t very many jews left in Poland to kill.
The Western allies didn’t really believe it until jan 1945, when they overran Ohrdruf and other camps in Central Germany.
I thought he said weapons manufacturers couldn’t be Christians?
Pope Franky is stuck on stupid
And zee UN vill send a strongly worded letter...
Maybe he should ask FDR?
since the Pope is a Jesuit, he should have a direct line to where FDR is and I know for certain FDR is NOT in heaven ...
Pope will have to break out the wee gee board...
That is a thoughtful reply. I met a Great Uncle 5 years ago at a family reunion in Washington.
He met me for the first time. I was the son of a man he knew very well. The man had since passed on.
This Great Uncle told me of the horrors he had to deal with in Germany. He cried.
He asked that I do all I can to prevent it from happening again.
My Great Uncle had to bear witness to the Holocaust.
He knows it can happen again.
I swore allegiance to my Constitution right there in front of him.
If MY nation fears me then it is time for the deck chairs to be thrown overboard.

LOL!
I am thankful you are keeping your reply short here.
You have much to say I am sure, but let this guy fall back on his own petard. He is driven by power and greed.
Possibly he is worse now than at the time he was elected. The non-stop talking leaves me pretty stunned. I can’t imagine that cardinals would vote for a man in this shape, if they realized his condition, or knew at the time of this propensity of his to so carelessly run his mouth. It’s very strange.
The ensuing fires would have created smoke that would have contributed to global warming.
And noise pollution.
Pray

You embarrass this lapsed Catholic. The pope should be far above this sort of silly pop crap.
Although I may be confusing death camps, that is what I understand from TV documentaries about Auschwitz. The Allies supposedly new nothing about the death camps until after they explored Germany after Hitler had been stopped.
In fact, I understand that the gas chamber building possibly had simple landscaping around it so that the prisoners wouldnt suspect that it was a gas chamber. Corrections welcome.
But Ill give the Pope a break since he possible never saw death camp documentaries when he was in Argentina.
On the other hand, I also understand that he doesnt use the evil Internet and may be a little too isolated from the rest of the world if such is the case.
