Feeling down about the Catholic Church and the homosexual marriage ruling? Give a listen to this Maryland priest's sermon. He goes after homosexuals in the priesthood, Martin Omally, and unfaithful Catholics. He speaks about the truth of marriage being one man andone woman. Pray for him as he said what needed to be said and may pay the price for it.

I see now...you’re wholly ignorant on the Catholic Church. Sorry, I misunderstood your position...I thought you just hated true Christians and wanted to lead people astray.

And yet you still have absolutely no idea what the original post was about.

Get back to me when you have changed that sorry state of affairs. It'll take you about 20 minutes.

'bye.

No, I am not "ignorant." I understand this un-Biblical institution and the apostate poop Francis with greater clarity than you do.

Sorry, I misunderstood your position...

Be as sarcastic as you like. It won't save you from Hell. Only knowing Jesus Christ will do that. Let me ask you - when was the last time you read through God's Word - the Bible - from cover to cover?

I thought you just hated true Christians and wanted to lead people astray.

"For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."

Matthew 24:24

I listened.
does the good Father not realize that his parishioners are not active voters?

they do vote from time to time. but in many states, over 90% of weekly Mass attendees don’t show up for primaries or special elections. They are asleep.

is that Father Meeks? I claim he is asleep on civics.

Oh, I listened to it. I admired this man who spoke out about the Supreme Court decision. I think men like this are IN CHRIST. I think that God uses who He uses. But, you must realize that the Catholic church is corrupt from the head (Francis). This man is a rebel for Jesus, but he is the minority. Not only is his voice the minority, but he he will be quickly stamped down by Vatican leadership.

He spoke out about the "Catholics" who ruled in the decision. Sotomayor and Kennedy. Tell me, why are not they "good Catholics?"

Why is not Pelosi a "good Catholic?"

I'll help you out - they are not Christians, and they could give a rip about Jesus. The "church" is dead. It is headed by a man who is in the direct grip of Satan. If you cannot see that, you don't have the Holy Spirit.

I will pray for you.

Please do. Use this verse in your prayer.

"If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer."

2 Corinthians 1:6

What Catholic Church were you a member of?

None - I left the Catholic church and I am now a follower of Jesus Christ.

Is this Fr. Ed Meeks?

His name should be trumpeted from the mountain tops.

I wish my priest would have been so courageous in dealing with this most important moral issue. The sermon he gave was full of simile and metaphor in making clear (I think) my church’s stance. But he seemed reticent to deal with it head-on with the directness and braveness this true man of God.

I was. I even thought about becoming a priest. I went to a seminary in high school. There were drugs, and homosexuality right in front of me. I was appalled. The priest who brought me there died of AIDS a few years later.

I remained a Catholic, and I was the "best" Catholic of my entire family.

When I was in the military as an Air Force pilot, I was introduced to another pilot who loved Christ. He told me the truth about Jesus. I began to read the Bible. I listened to broadcasts on Christian radio.

The decision to give my life over to Jesus was the hardest I ever had to make. I did not want my life to change! I didn't want to become a person who had to adhere to the standards of God. I did not want my sin to have be acknowleged and repented from.

Now is NOT the time for Christians to be fighting each other. The devil is at the door, and it is time for us to UNITE in brotherhood.

If you cannot see that, you don't have the Holy Spirit.

No better way to discredit yourself than to pull that dodge.

At least you listened to the sermon.
