Is 7-year biblical 'Tribulation' about to start? (Shemitah, blood moons and signs)
WND ^ | 9/10/2015

Millions of investors concerned about the Shemitah cycle are watching stock markets and economies in these dark days of September.

Will the Dow crash, they wonder, like it did in the past two Shemitah years, 2001 and 2008, or will the dollar collapse and take the U.S. economy down with it?

Not Mark Biltz.

The founder and pastor of El Shaddai Ministries is watching for something much bigger.

The start of the Tribulation.

Biltz, author of “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs,” is not predicting that the Tribulation will start with the beginning of a new seven-year cycle at sundown on Sunday, Sept. 13. But if it doesn’t start, then he says it likely won’t for at least another seven years.

That’s because God operates according to seasons that follow the biblical Old Testament feast days, he said.

“The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is trying to get the attention of the entire world, and His people in particular, of the need to get on His calendar cycle.

One of the ways He does that is through signs in the heavens, including lunar and solar eclipses, which of course have to do with calendars. A total lunar eclipse or “blood moon” occurs on Sept. 28, which is the Feast of Tabernacles. It’s the last of four blood moons, all falling on Jewish feast days, over the past 18 months, a rare “tetrad” of lunar eclipses.

And it’s not like one has to search very long for signs that the Tribulation could be about to commence. Read here how Christians are being slaughtered across the world while the historically Christian nations of Europe and America ignore their cries, jumping instead to take in Muslim migrants and thousands of potential jihadist enemies.

Seven years is the length of Pon Farr which is also an excellent name for a band.

We may not know the day or hour, but it doesn’t say we can’t figure out the month or year.

The Rapture will immediately change the balance of power in the world. The Rapture will not be significant in non-Christian dominated countries, like Saudi Arabia and Iran. It will be a devastating event in countries like America, Canada, Great Britain, any country with a significant Christian population. Just think of how many of our military are believers in jesus. They will suddenly no longer be around, at posts. Think of how many semi-truck drivers and pilots, and treain operators, etc. are Christian believers and will suddenly disappear from their operations. Imagine what a 10% disappearance of police and fire fighters will do to answering emergencies across the land. Gangs will be more powerful locally than any law enforcement folks left to man the stations. What will the impact of ALL children under the age of accountability disappearing suddenly have upon those left to sort out the catastrophe?

Since the feasts of Israel (the Times appointed by God) are tied to lunar and solar events, it is sometimes not possible to know the moment of arrival for a feast, so there are two days of seven days in sequence appointed for discernment of the start.

Diaper industry gone. Baby-clothes industry gone. Day-care industry gone. Toy sales and minivan sales drop like a stone. Starving-children philanthropy overtaken by events.

There are lots more. Someone's probably covered it in a science fiction novel where all the children died in a plague or were kidnapped by aliens.

Is 7-year biblical 'Tribulation' about to start?

I believe the possibility of that is quite high. But don't confuse the year of rest (Shemitah occurs every seven years, or a jubilee year which occurs after every 49 years) with the period of tribulation that marks the 'end of this age' as the author here causes to some extent.

And you don't have to be a Bible scholar to see the world is entering a time of great change or transition. Many signs outside of scripture point to this being an epoch in the time-line of human history.

In these threads, it's also easy to see who has or hasn't knowledge of scripture. Those who blindly dismiss prophecy obviously haven't researched them.

We are indeed living in prophetic times.

[The Rapture] will be a devastating event in countries like America, Canada, Great Britain, any country with a significant Christian population...

In biblical discussions on this subject, a few of us concluded that the moral compass of ALL organizations will be spinning wildly. That alone will accelerate moral decay exponentially. But, there will be a great fear followed by a great deception.

The author is clearly confused, extrapolating that “7 year tribulation” is “biblical” (where it is never thus defined) and then taking the clearly biblical commandments regarding the shmitah and calling them “Hebrew law” - uh, no, the shmitah is BIBLICAL.

Some of the comments on the WND thread are disturbing. Many self professing “christians” there who want to argue about everything (length of Tribulation, order of the Seals, etc), but miss the point and the purpose of God.

Speech you were never supposed to see

A speech given by Jonathan Cahn, author of the best-selling book "The Harbinger," Jan. 21, 2013, the morning of Barack Obama's second presidential inauguration, at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast.

I don’t think the Bible is the literal truth, but allegorical.

The Porter, the “ watchman “ opens the gate, portal, heaven’s dimensional gate or portal, event horizon for the Sheppard.

Just like Jacob’s latter, portal where angels desended ascended.

A chunk of the Sun will hit the earth, now what it means as the sun will be darkened could mean anything from Nuclear winter, mulitible vocanos erupting, a astroid hitting the earth, or even the sun it’s self entering into some kind of cycle that we never heard of that perhaps done so before man was created before Adam and Eve where the sun’s light is dimmed.

The Bible also prophesies that “there will be mockers” in the last days. It is ironic that this is being fulfilled here on this forum and among “Christians” who mock things they do not understand.

There is a great deal of scriptural support for the solar and lunar eclipse coinciding with feast days to be of prophetic significance.

It is very likely that the rapture will occur on a feast of trumpets. The one for 2015 begins this evening.

If Christians knew their Bible’s, this would be the main subject of discussion in every church in the world today.

While I personally believe there are other signs that must be fulfilled, I also see the coming day as a day to reflect on being ready for the return of the Lord. This will be an event on the level of creation, the birth of Christ, His death, His resurrection, and the coming of the Holy Spirit.

It will happen on a day like the one about to begin. It may not be this day, but it will be soon. Some alive today will see it.

So says the religion of catholiciism. When The Rapture happens, IF you’re a Christian we’ll explain it to you on the way up ... you don’t have to believe in the Rapture to be snatched out of this about-to-be-wrath-cleansed world, but it would be more comforting for any who do believe it is coming, just as Paul explained in 1 Thess 4:18.
