I believe he has, perhaps for nothing more than testing the waters to see when the time is ripe to make his appearance.
Considering some of the evil men who have been in this world, he could for every age, have someone waiting in the wings as it were, to make his appearance hen he thinks the time is right.
Discernment these days is beyond crucial. It’s a matter of life and death.
Which is too much evident, and is based upon the novel and unScriptural premise of ensured perpetual magisterial infallibility.
"Catholic doctrine, as authoritatively proposed by the Church, should be held as the supreme law; for, seeing that [according to infallible us] the same God is the author both of the Sacred Books and of the doctrine committed to the Church, it is clearly impossible that any teaching can by legitimate means be extracted from the former, which shall in any respect be at variance with the latter.." [as the premise is false, so is the conclusion] (Providentissimus Deus;http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/leo_xiii/encyclicals/documents/hf_l-xiii_enc_18111893_providentissimus-deus_en.html)
We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty..." "We have addressed to Catholic people, either collectively or individually; and above all, let them lay down for themselves as a Supreme Law, to yield obedience in all things to the teaching and Authority of the Church, in no narrow or mistrustful spirit, but with their whole soul and promptitude of will." - http://www.papalencyclicals.net/Leo13/l13praec.htm
Cardinal Avery Dulles: People cannot discover the contents of revelation by their unaided powers of reason and observation. They have to be told by people who have received in from on high. - Cardinal Avery Dulles, SJ, Magisterium: Teacher and Guardian of the Faith, p. 72;
It is the living Church and not Scripture that St. Paul indicates as the pillar and the unshakable ground of truth....no matter what be done the believer cannot believe in the Bible nor find in it the object of his faith until he has previously made an act of faith in the intermediary authorities..." - Catholic Encyclopedia>Tradition and Living Magisterium; http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/15006b.htm
...when we appeal to the Scriptures for proof of the Church's infallible authority we appeal to them merely as reliable historical sources... - Catholic Encyclopedia>Infallibility; http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/07790a.htm
in all cases there is a margin left for the exercise of faith in the word of the Church. He who believes the dogmas of the Church only because he has reasoned them out of History, is scarcely a Catholic......in all cases the immediate motive in the mind of a Catholic for his reception of them is, not that they are proved to him by Reason or by History, but because Revelation has declared them by means of that high ecclesiastical Magisterium which is their legitimate exponent. John Henry Newman, A Letter Addressed to the Duke of Norfolk on Occasion of Mr. Gladstone's Recent Expostulation. 8. The Vatican Council lhttp://www.newmanreader.org/works/anglicans/volume2/gladstone/section8.html
Thus even conservative SSPX and SSPX type RCs are likened to Protestants because they engage in interpretation of evidences to ascertain the veracity of V2 and modern teaching, as their are obvious contrasts , even as regards EENS .
One RC poster ever admitted that Scripture is not the basis for Catholic teaching.
I believe this has to be the case in light of the rapture.
A great spiritual void will be left when the Holy Spirit is gone.
I could say you are useless.
But you are worse than useless.
WRONG !!!!!!!!
Which of course, is a fallacious charge and figure, while RCs also determine the validity of teaching based upon their judgment of conformity with historical writings, and are part of an amalgam of members with varying beliefs, all treated as members by Rome, which shows her interpretation of her beliefs thereby.
Under both sola Scriptura (wholly inspired Scripture alone being the supreme standard for faith and morals, but which provides for helps, etc.) and sola ecclesia (the infallible if non-inspired Church alone being the supreme standard for faith and morals) you have both unity and disunity, with those who esteem Scripture most strongly being the most conservative and unified in basics, and the question is which is Scriptural?
Meaning did the church began under the RC model, in which the historical instruments and stewards of Divine revelation are the infallible authorities on Truth, by which we know what Scripture, etc. means?
>Or can souls be right following men whom such reject, but establish their truth claims upon Scriptural substantiation in word and in power? (Which does not militate against the magisterial office, but not as infallible.
Alinsky would be proud. I notice roman catholics are the first to name call when they have nothing of substance to offer.

Our Lady of Fatima Her Prophecies and Warnings Remain as Essential as Ever!
FYI
You know your a big boy (or girl) why dont you just google it.
Why Catholics jump to every time you ask for proof is beyond me.
Search it yourself - it is a matter of published public record.
The Rapture was barely a footnote in Scripture until the 1820s
Now its a whole subset of protestantism.
Nothing like creating fiction out if whole cloth.
again, not one of those quotes, says the word alone, or the word bible, or to use a bible alone, outside the teaching church.bttt
Hey Mitch.
Then they have no reason to call themselves a church.
And it’s no surprise that they make up doctrine as they go.
We’re you stuned by the caliber of the intellectual rebuttal of our posts?
