>>Because Islam, as I have said many times, is a form of protestantism and was founded as a protest against the Church...I would go so far as to say that Islam is a pre-Reformation protestant sect.
Luther’s protest was against certain things that the church was doing at the time. Oddly enough, the church stopped doing almost all of those things because he was right.
Islam is a protest against the deity of Jesus Christ, not the excesses of an out of control church.
The Reformation didn’t become the Protestant church until after Rome had excommunicated the Reformers.
I noticed that his conversation with an evangelical happened “years ago”. How many years? He would find that the evangelical view of the Crusades has changed quite a bit in the last decade, due to the activities of Islam and the fact that people are more educated about the real history of the Crusades now.
The religion of peace is neither!
Ping!
Have these guys been reading Horn and Putnam's Petrus Romanus ?
When radical islamists start agreeing with the predictions of Evangelical Christians, things are weird indeed.
Well this just goes to prove that just because one is evil, that doesn’t mean one isn’t ignorant.
Apparently these jihadi wannabes believe the supposed “prophecies of St Malachi” are real. They aren’t. That’s been proven to be fake.
Is this from the so called moderate Muslims or from the extremists that have distorted Islam?
/sarcasm
The writer is ignorant of the meaning of "protestant". The Protestant movement wasn't against Christianity, it was against the then corruption the Catholic church. Islam is not a branch of Christianity in any way shape or form.
Bookmarked for later reading.
Take the savages seriously, el popo! Making kissy-face with savages just makes your face dirty.
Of Note, however:
Why do Muslims hate Rome so much? Because Islam, as I have said many times, is a form of protestantism and was founded as a protest against the Church. Just as Mormonism is against the Catholic Church (it calls it the Harlot of Babylon) so is Islam. I would go so far as to say that Islam is a pre-Reformation protestant sect. Muslims tried to invade Rome seven times, and they began their attempts hundreds of years before Luther supported the Islamic Ottoman conquest of Rome.
The fact that we now have the worst Pope in at least 300 years must be of some significance. I mean, over and above the mere fact that he’s the worst Pope in at least 300 years.
As if his promotion of the Global Warming Hoax weren’t enough proof that he’s a lying huckster, the recent revelation that the Apostolic Exhortation was all written BEFORE the Synod started seals the deal. All that insincere blather about “listening to the Holy Spirit”—when he KNEW the entire time that the Exhortation was all written! He USED the bishops who were present as PUPPETS and PROPS. What THEY said was going to go into the waste basket, and he KNEW IT.
In fact, it reminds me of a Joseph Califano story about Jimmy Carter. When a bunch of rubes would come to the Oval Office, Jimmy would get out his legal pad, filling pages with notes as the rubes would tell the President of their concerns. He would ask them for their ideas, and write it all down. Page after page. The moment they exited, the yellow pages were ripped off the pad and stuffed in the waste basket.
That’s our stupid, vain, lying Pope.
“Conserve wood. One stake per Muslim.”
Ever notice that all these articles that point out how Catholic the ancient church was never mention that they ancient church accepted the historicity of Genesis 1-11?
I didn't think so.
That is an ancient doctrine the liturgical churches threw into the garbage can in the nineteenth century. Turns out it is the a-historical heretics that maintain the ancient position on this issue.
Maybe St. Malachy was right after all.
Because Islam, as I have said many times, is a form of protestantism and was founded as a protest against the Church.
That's where I stopped.

Islam is to Protestantism as basketball is to pottery.
Shoebat is a moonbat.
Odd rant. I have an image in my mind of Shoebat running around, hair in flames and arms waving, crying “The ProddyMoes are coming; the ProddyMoes are coming!”
Have the Moslems been reading up on St Malachy’s prophecy?
