A three hour movie depicting the murder of Jesus Christ.
Cut Fox News altogether. Can’t get it now regardless.
Agreed, I certainly hope no believing person accepts the premise that Jesus was murdered, martyred or killed. He is not a man (only) that any other man could kill him.
In fact, Jesus clearly stated that “no man takes my life, I lay it down” and later, on the cross, he clearly states “it ( the sacrifice of a perfect man) for the salvation of all mankind (if they would accept it) is finished” and after that He “gave up his spirit”.
Jesus bore the punishment of a Holy God in his human body, but since he is Emanuel (God with us) his life/spirit is eternal ( I and my Father are one); once the wrath of God was poured out on him, in our stead, he gave up his spirit so that he could fulfill the scriptures that clearly stated a three day death then resurrection into eternal life-and completing the plan of salvation for all who believe, Jew and Greek.....
How wonderful a Saviour is Jesus my Lord!
Well said. Amen, Brother!

It’s all about the money, it seems.
What would you expect from BOR?
Mel Gibson’s version was extremely powerful. It blew away a very mixed audience - absolute silence at the end of the movie.
I don’t think the BOR blowhard knows what he is talking about half the time. It’s always about him - a pure narcissist.
I have no intention of contributing to Bill O’s inflated sense of self.
You don’t bring something new to the discussion by leaving out several critical points.
You can pick at it if you wish but Judicial Murder (which is what you describe) is a well established legal concept.
I gave up on him 15 years ago. He strategically places his positions all over the map so that once in a while you really think he gets it, but it’s strictly for ratings. He has no core principles, other than $$$$$.
Reminds me of cold fingers ...

OReilly is a blowhard who probably knows very little about the Bible.
I have a friend who grew up Catholic. In his early 40s he left the church. His exact words were “The priest doesn’t want you to read the Bible. He’ll read it then tell you what’s in it.”
So, Bill being full blown Catholic, I doubt he’s ever read it.
Killing Jesus is just painful it is so bad.
I tried watching it but was uncomfortable for some reason. I chalked it down to my mini-marathon of religious shows (The Passion of the Christ; The Bible, other CNN documentaries... Finding Jesus I think).
Also thought it could be due to an argument with my sister, who I rarely see, and the extreme sadness I feel at being back home in the States visiting my father who has visibly declined in the three months since I saw him last.
I am sorry! I digressed big time. The movie was off somehow... I turned it off and my family will attest that it takes a lot for me to turn off a movie or show about Jesus at this time of year.
This was the worst film about Jesus I’ve ever seen. The only resemblance between this film & The Bible was that this film had a characters with the same name as those in the Gospels. It portrayed Jesus as someone bumbling around who didn’t know who he was, having to have John the Baptist tell him. I believe it was more blasphemous than The Last Temptation of Christ. O’Really needs to actually read The Bible before attempting to write or at least make sure his ghostwriter knows what he is writing about.
Yes.... Those words were used against Him. But He spoke the truth... Which they found out on Easter
Beautifully stated!!!! Thank you. Of course He could have slipped out of the shackles...But He laid down His life for us.
May we strive harder to be worthy of His sacrifice.
I and my wife watched a show on the History channel about the life of Christ and early Christianity. I even saw the hooded OBAMA-Satan in the background.
Yeah thanks but no thanks. I’ll stick with the eyewitness accounts.
