That pertain to one’s interpretation of Prophecy.
So, any idea what event that date represents?
Sept 23, 2017 lands on 3 Tishre, 5778.
That day:
- Is the Sabbath
- Is a very special Sabbath - Shabbat Shuvah (the Sabbath of Return).
- Is a fast day
- Has a new moon
- Immediately follows Rosh Hashanah (the New Year)
- Is in the 10 Days of Awe (Yamim Noraim) or the Days of Repentance, that ends with Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement / Sabbath of Sabbaths), which also lands on a Sabbath that year.
So, an attack on Israel?

John Haller is not some ranting charlatan.
He is a lawyer by trade who is also a Christian. He is incredibly observant, and is adapt in gathering and analyzing evidence. They he discusses these events and trends via a Biblical foundation.
His presentations are more akin to an Intelligence Analyst who is briefing military leadership on his finds. I spent decades in the military, and that analogy is exactly what he is doing with Christians who wish to determine current events through the lens of God's prophetic goals.
He brings in current news items, video clips, and articles written by serious thinkers, such as the Jerusalem Post's Caroline Glick and others.
I doubt you will find a more sober, thoughtful, and informative analysis of current events (social, political, economic, etc) than Haller's updates.

Because he has actually read the entire Bible and understands the relationship between the original vine and its branches and the branches that have been grafted to the original vine.
Just remember, if you are still here when the Great Tribulation starts, do not take the mark on your right hand or forehead so that you can buy and sell stuff.

I think it does mention Newton’s calculations.
It’s just an interesting something. I don’t put much stock in stuff like that and don’t go for alleged prophecy that something IS going to happen that date. I find it curious and just file it in the back of my mind for future reference.
I have enough to deal with on a day to day basis and don’t plan on selling everything I have and waiting on a rooftop somewhere.
I think we way underestimate the power of prayer and the spiritual ramifications of what we do in the spiritual.
I was praying about something the other day and realized I needed to confess something I had been struggling with and repent for it. I did and the thought entered my mind that that probably caused a ripple in the spiritual realm, and I felt like God said to me *More like a tsumani*.
Then it occurred to me that we probably do things every day, even in just little decisions to do something as simple as doing the right thing in a situation, that has more of an impact on the forces of darkness than we realize.
That would make sense as when the moon is in a position to block the sun it would be in a new moon position.

It already started. Look at the persecution of Christians worldwide. Just because it hasn’t really come to America is no reason to fail to see it in the world.

The Great Tribulation starts when the Anti-Christ goes into the Holy-of-Holies in the rebuilt Temple and declares himself to be God. Anything before that is mear tribulation.

If such a structure was ever “consecrated” it would be Anti-Christ itself.
Yes, the scriptures indicate that that is probably the case. During his “deception” phase the Anti-Christ will appear to the Jews as their Messiah.
The deception phase is going on now with every “Christian” pastor who spreads this false teachings about the state called Israel being something special. It is a good, somewhat democratic nation that deserves to live in peace. Nothing more.Christ’s finished work on the cross is for all people.

Sept 23 doesn't mean anything and 923 by itself doesn't mean anything. The author answers his own question when he states:
"First of all, Yom Kippur falls on that day. It is the most solemn of all of the holy days in the Bible, and it is commonly connected with the judgment of God."
End. Of. Story.
There is tremendous spiritual power in that day and other observances on the Jewish calendar; the "spiritual" is more accessible. Anyone who prays formal daily prayers knows this fact.
That spirtual accessibility can also be used for Evil, as pointed out in the article:
