Remember, if you are an “observant” Jew today, you are ignoring or spiritualizing Isaiah 53, and don’t recognize Jesus as the Messiah. So when I talk about what the Jews believe, I talk about what the Jews believe.

If you are a Messianic Jew, then you are just like Peter, Paul, Matthew, John and the reset, i.e. already part of the Body of Christ.

God is not done with Israel yet. The Church Age has intervened, but God has made promises to Israel that are yet to be fulfilled. God is not a liar, they will be fulfilled in His timing.

We do not know the date and I hate date setters, all they do is bring scorn on Christians and God’s word. However, we are commanded to know the season. I believe we are in that season of the end times.

I’ll try this again: When I talk about the Messiah that the Jews are expecting to come the first time soon, I am referring to what Believers know as the Anti-Christ. Believers already know that Jesus is the only Messiah, that He has already come the first time, and that He is coming again soon.

If you can’t understand these statements, the give me a list of “Jewish Mashiachim” and I’ll either pick one or tell you He isn’t on your list.

That Israel doesn’t even exist anymore. The bloodlines have been mixed with eastern European Ashkenazis. They have no temple. Their Levitical priesthood is no longer in existence and there is no way to determine who is in the bloodline of Levi.

Israel is all of God’s chosen people, the Elect. It is Gentile and Jew. Looking to the modern state named Israel for some key to unlocking the return of Christ is idolatry and possibly blasphemy since we have been told that the Elect are God’s chosen people and that we are all priests and children of God. That is even more than the ancient nation of Israel could claim.

Here's a little background:

Mashiach ben Yossef (Mashiach the descendant of Joseph) of the tribe of Ephraim (son of Joseph), is also referred to as Mashiach ben Ephrayim, Mashiach the descendant of Ephraim. He will come first, before the final redeemer, and later will serve as his viceroy.

The essential task of Mashiach ben Yossef is to act as precursor to Mashiach ben David: he will prepare the world for the coming of the final redeemer. Different sources attribute to him different functions, some even charging him with tasks traditionally associated with Mashiach ben David (such as the ingathering of the exiles, the rebuilding of the Bet Hamikdash, and so forth).

The principal and final function ascribed to Mashiach ben Yossef is of political and military nature. He shall wage war against the forces of evil that oppress Israel. More specifically, he will do battle against Edom, the descendants of Esau. Edom is the comprehensive designation of the enemies of Israel, and it will be crushed through the progeny of Joseph. Thus it was prophesied of old, "The House of Jacob will be a fire and the House of Joseph a flame, and the House of Esau for stubble.." (Obadiah 1:18): "the progeny of Esau shall be delivered only into the hands of the progeny of Joseph."

We have priveleges far beyond Israel that is true But the Church is not Israel and replacement theology has let to some of the worst episodes in Church history and a lot of antisemitism Daniel’s 70th week is yet to be fulfilled and will be once the Church is raptured. Israel does not unlock prophecy concerning the Church but God will fulfill all His prophetic Word to His ancient people

Good way to stifle discussion! I’m not talking about replacement. I’m talking about grafting on. Like the bible says.

Just before Jesus went to the Father, He told His disciples that it is not for them to know the times or seasons that the Father has established by His own authority. Where are we commanded to know the season?

A lot of Christians miss out on the joy and freedom of being in Christ because they are too caught up in eschatological folklore as taught by self-serving “ministers” who do things like a regular prophecy update.

OK, so it was a trick question. Any analysis by people who missed the main point of the Bible, is to be taken with a grain of salt, so to speak, or treated as so much Satanic Gorilla Dust. ;-)

There is only one Messiah, only one Redeemer of the World, Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, called Jesus Christ in English. The whole of the Tanach (Old Testament) testifies to Him. He is the Second Person, the Son, in the Trinity of Persons, Elohim, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, through which the Ein Sof interacts with His Creation from outside that Creation.

The structure of Elohim and elementary particles appears to derives from the Universe starting as three books, or spheres, a long time ago. It is based on the natural numbers, which require twelve axioms to define them. All this is captured in the Three Patriarchs and the 12 Sons of Israel. Grouping the Sons of Israel by their birth mothers in their birth order, we get the organization of the 12 dimensions of the Universe. But that is for another time and another book.

Jesus had two lineages from David. A legal one through his adopted father, and a genetic one through his mother. The matriarchal linage is important because Sin entered the world through the male, Adam's, line. So to be born sinless, Jesus had to have the Holy Spirit as his father.

rwa256, I think you are confusing the “the Day or Hour”, which we can’t know, with “seasons” for which there are signs in the heavens. (Gen 1:14)

How about providing the verses you think say it is not for us to know the times or seasons.

The only "trick" is in your mind. My question/replies are two short sentences each. By the numbers, for everyone to see:

1. You boldly assert in post 36 "...the Anti-Christ will appear to the Jews as their Messiah."
2. I ask in posts 40 and 42 who is that Messiah.
3. In post 46 you offer to reveal, if I provide the list.
3. In post 49 I offer the only two choices, per your request.
4. In post 55, you a) assert I am a trickster, b) fail to answer the question as you said you would, and c) post paragraphs of material and a bizarre genealogy irrelevant to the discussion.

If you choose to release the name of the "Anti-Christ Jewish Messiah" great, if not, as I said before, that's okay too.

Sorry, I should have provided the verse. It is Acts 1:7. I checked with biblehub.com to make sure there weren’t different English words being used. Virtually all of them had times, but seasons is also shown as dates, epochs, periods, or moments.

Also, could you keep my son and his mates in your prayers? Their sub has been out to sea for ten weeks. He said this deployment has not been like any he’s been on before. Nothing bad is happening but the schedule keeps changing. I guess no deployment is like any other, but there have been longer stretches between receiving e-mails than on any other deployment.

And a lot of Christians miss out on the excitement of knowing Christ is returning soon because they never think about it or pooh pooh any suggestion that His return is imminent
