Who ever brought this up needs to be charged with harassment and probably a hate crime.
Beyond that this ‘christian’ is stupid.
Having an open bible is not discrimination.
I have a career as an active duty Army Chaplain, and I can tell you with certainty that our religious rights are not forfeited when we enter the military.
The only real issue concerning religion has to do with ongoing combat operations. At that time, a commander can order you on a mission even if you’d rather go see the chaplain for a time of prayer.
In combat, mission overrides everything else.
As it should. There’s a time for every purpose under heaven.
In WWII, Nazis were the enemy!
Today the Bible is the enemy!
Go figure!
One of my coworkers didn’t like the idea that we had Wiccans in the office so he brought in his Clinton post-Monica sized KJV Bible and put it prominently on his desk. The atheist Yankee boss wanted to say something but was stifled by the large amount of Melanin in the coworker’s system.
Notwithstanding the complete falsehood of this assertion, isn't it interesting that this jackwagon equates the Koran with the Book of Satan! Blind squirrel? Broken clock?
They need to leave the military.
Let’s think about this for a second. What would happen if I lodged a formal complaint against a Muslim officer for having a Koran on his desk? I’d be lucky if they sent me to some reeducation camp and didn’t just kick me straight out of the Air Force. Whoever lodged this complaint needs to pay.
The military member that brought this should be brought up on charges.
Amen and Amen. I look forward to that day when we ALL hear His name and bow.
Many will be forced to bow, but those of us who know Him as Lord will bow with thankfulness and gratitude in our heart.
I can't make up my mind if he is insane...or just a pussy. So I'll choose both!
Only by the "progressives" idiotic logic
I worked one job where they brought in someone who loudly proclaimed herself to be wiccan. The boss tersely commanded that “everyone was to leave her alone” meaning no one could object (as if we were inclined to anyway).
I noticed that she was conducting “church” business during work hours and once attempted to report it but was rebuffed, reminding me to mind my own business. So I let it go and ignored her. Unfortunately she neglected her job so the rest of us have to cover for her.
The company finally discovered her moonlighting and fired her, then blasted us for saying nothing.
No good deed goes unpunished...
Liberals attempting logic is always a really dicey game for them.
Make the complainer hang up a picture of the FOUR CHAPLINS behind his desk forever.
We had two. One of them was let got after complaining about the new random drug testing. He was randomly tested first and failed. FDISKed his hard drive on the way out.
The other was too valuable to fail. She did keep her spells on the mainframe and busted an employee when she found them on the printer. They told her to find another location for them.
My favorite conversation with the Wiccan went like this
Wiccan: Wicca can be practiced any way you like. There is no limit
Me: Can you worship Satan?
Wiccan: No.
wiccan: "Do you know Satan?"
Unwitting office worker: "No"
wiccan: "Would you like to meet him?"
Thought for certain this must be satire.
I had a Koran on my desk before I retired from the military. If anyone had asked why I would have said “You have to know your enemy in order to defeat them.”
