Since it is recognized that it is extremely rare to find men entirely devoid of the religious sense, some people entertain the hope that nations [...] in spite of their differing religious viewpoints, may be brought to unite as brothers in the profession of certain doctrines as a common foundation of the spiritual life. [...] Certainly efforts such as these cannot receive the approbation of Catholics, for they rest on that false opinion which holds any opinion whatever to be more-or-less praiseworthy and good. [...] Those who hold this opinion are not only in gross error, they even debase the concept of true religion and, little by little, lapse into Naturalism and Atheism. [...] He who refuses to have the Church for his Mother will not have God for his Father. When St. Augustine speaks of man's last end, he hastens to add this counsel to any one who wishes to reach that end: "Their attempt will be useless if they do not submit to the Catholic Church, and humbly obey her, for she alone has been divinely instituted to give light and strength to souls, without which they will necessarily stray from the right path." Would to God they had listened to the voice of Augustine in the past! And would to God that everyone might hear him today who rends the seamless robe of Christ. and casts himself miserably outside the path of salvation. Pope Pius XI

Oh, so you are in schism and only hold to the Trent version, not the recent one JPII said was the official doctrine?
“I dont know about the author, but I dont consider Vatican II to be part of the constant teaching of the Catholic Church.”
So then you are protesting an official teaching of the church. It seems this kinda makes you a protestant of your own sort.
“I still dont believe you.”
And I don’t believe you when you say that. The difference is that I’m right and have proof of what I’m saying. You have Kitchen Sink.
No, I’m not in schism. I practice the same Faith that my Catholic predecssors, including the Saints, practiced.
How about you? Or have you jumped the tracks?
Anybody who has to say, “I’m right”, in his every other post has an insecurity complex. I’ll pray for you.
Order detailsOrdered on February 3, 2016 (1 item) The Sacraments a Continuing Encounter with Christ: Taken from Teaching of Christ: A Catholic Catechism for Adults Donald Cardinal Wuerl, Ronald Lawler O.F.M. Cap., Thomas Comerford Lawler, Kris D. Stubna, Edited by Jem Sullivan, et al. Sold by:
Do you agree with Donna that baby murderers can receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion?
VC II was a pastoral council, nothing more.
Instead of making judgements on outward appearances, and rumors and innuendos, how about listening to what he has to say, and check the Scriptures for yourself?
I have done this with Pastor Steve, and I have not found anything wrong in what he is teaching. He has seen patterns that no one else has seen, for example that the colors of the Four Horsemen are the colors of the Islamic nations fighting Israel.
One never knows what little fact or incite will bring someone to believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. One thing we know is that carping about other Christians, or even people who say they are Christians, has never brought someone to Jesus.
“Anybody who has to say, Im right, in his every other post has an insecurity complex. Ill pray for you.”
Anybody who has to get something wrong in his every other post has an intellectual honesty problem. I’ll pray for you.
How does that crow taste? I’ve never had to eat any of it myself.
“Why did you buy the book below co-authored by the heretic, Donald Wuerl?”
1) He’s not a heretic and there’s NOTHING heretical in that book.
2) It’s a great small explanation of the sacraments. They took the larger The Teaching of Christ volume and printed up the sacraments section (with extra materials) as its own separate book. Quite handy. Also, realize that now that you have asked me why I bought one of those books you have, by default, admitted I own them, which means you are tacitly amditting you were wrong when you earlier said I did not.
Every time you post you can’t help but prove I was right. You just can’t help it.
“Do you agree with Donna that baby murderers can receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion?”
Kitchen Sink. Again. First you make your error, and then when its shown to be an error you have to lash out by throwing in a completely off topic Kitchen Sink. It’s what you do.
I doubt your prayers will be heard. No thanks.
The Catechism of Trent is the kitchen sink?
There you go again with your pride.
“He has seen patterns that no one else has seen, for example that the colors of the Four Horsemen are the colors of the Islamic nations fighting Israel.”
Apparently, if he started talking about that in 2015, he found it elsewhere:

Which constant teachings?
The EO?
Or Roman rite?
Trent?
Vatican I?
Vatican II?
The only thing constant is the continual change in them. It doesn’t stop. Not for 2,000 years or so.
If you had lived in WNY you would have.
I can think of several who might be behind those screens names.
It's what I encountered in the heavily Catholic area. When they have the majority, that's what you get.
My comment was to you, about prophets and GOD’s standard for a prophet. I made no accusations or insinuations so please don’t lump me in with vlad’s comments.
“There you go again with your pride.”
There you go again being wrong.
“The Catechism of Trent is the kitchen sink?”
Since you didn’t even mention that in the post in question it wasn’t the Kitchen Sink nor was I claiming it was. That means you were wrong twice in one question. Seriously, you should go for breaking your old error record whatever that is.
“I doubt your prayers will be heard. No thanks.”
Yet another error. Three posts from you with only three lines of text written by you and you made 5 errors. Being wrong - it’s what you’re good at.
Dream on.
Wuerl voted THIRD most destructive churchman in the past 100 years
Wuerl says teaching and pastoral judgment not the same thing
And there you go. . . back to one of your Kitchen Sinks. Proven wrong on one thing you resort to the Kitchen Sink. So seemingly desperate.
