Even before the Satanic Wikileaks photos and blood rituals were released, I'd started to believe the "rich men of the earth", those whom the Lord laughs at in Psalm 2, or those who love the UN (the UNiparty) and are longing for a NWO -- must be occultists of some kind. The UN was founded on Luciferian weird beliefs, as anyone who does a little research can see.

I don't know if Hillary really was a demonically programed little girl from the start, or if her "health" issues of blackouts, brain sputters, seizures are really spiritual issues -- I just know we are in a spiritual battle now and need to do as it says in the King James version of Matthew 17:21...

Actually the NIV mentions “fasting” plenty of times: https://www.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?quicksearch=fasting&qs_version=NIV

>Why Is “Fasting” Omitted In Some Bible Translations?

Hopefully for the same reason most of the witch burning aspect of the old testament was deleted.

It makes no sense, it’s evil and is useless for good to prevail.

Because it takes effort.

But it omits verses about prayer and fasting being necessary to cast out demonic spirits. In light of the occult Wikileaks blood rituals, I’m going with the KJV.

I know about how King Saul consulted the Witch of Endor, but where was there ever a ritual in the OT about burning them?

Fasting was a common activity in Judaism. But the disciples could not cast out a certain demon and Jesus told them they needed prayer and fasting in order to do get rid of it.

I heard some pastor discuss this a long time ago. Fasting is a denial of the flesh and somehow this gives authority over the evil realm, perhaps even going back to when Eve ate of the verboten fruit.

Relative, not exact, like killing first born etc. Pillars of salt etc.

No excuses for evil acts against innocents etc.

Are you saying fasting is evil and useless for good to prevail? If so, I say you are blinded by evil and need to repent and read the Bible closer. Of course, I am not sure you have ever read the Bible.

Start with a study of Biblical texts. See which text family the translation is based upon. (Textus Receptus or Majority Text). Then look at the translation philosophy (formal equivalence or dynamic equivalence). Finally, look for translator bias.

On the third item, the original NIV is OK, but the TNIV and the current version should be avoided for the intentional injection of socially liberal bias.

My personal preference is for the New King James version. Readable, and deals with manuscript and translation issues in an honest manner.

I’m saying fasting does nothing good for those that are intelligent enough to understand that fasting does no good.

I say the humans that wrote the Bible were human like me.

I’m no scholar, but I agree with you on the NKJV. I also love my Catholic Jerusalem Bible, the 1960’s version, because it reads like poetry.

The Textus Receptus is the majority text!

“Modern” translations are based on
codex Sinaiticus and Vaticanus, which differ from the majority texts substantially, because they were deliberately corrupted by Origen.

?

Anyway, prayer and fasting is what Jesus told His disciples to do when they needed to cast out a demon from that kid.

Hmmmm. Whom should Christians believe when it comes to the value of fasting: Jesus or soycd?

It's not so much the denial of the flesh, as it is denial of the creation.

Were it not for the very Word, there would be no space/time/heaven, nor matter/earth. It is an act of faith in The Creator, and forsaking the creation.
