CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Thieves broke into Caldwell Presbyterian Church on East Fifth Street in Charlotte late Wednesday and vandalized a painting with Scripture that targets homosexuality.
Church members called it a personal attack on the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
The church embraces its call to be a diverse, progressive and mission-oriented congregation centered on justice and advocacy, according to its website.

Maybe the “church” ought to embrace Christianity a little more and “justice and advocacy” — especially where the latter is just a mask for sexual perversion — a little less.

My bet? (90%) Bored teenagers. Likely attend (read: get dragged to) the church by a relative.
2nd guess (9%)= hoax. But hoaxers wouldn't have stolen anything. Or, would have stolen/broken anything that had value to homosexuals.
3rd guess (1% or less) = "hate" crime. But again, someone with real malice would have done more damage, or stolen\destroyed everything not nailed down.
But, by all means, the media should scream "HATE CRIME" at the top of their lungs, before all of the facts come in. Because homophobia.

Really, someone THAT "Bible literate" to even know what Corinthians actually says.
They leave such a "horrible" quote, yet just steal from the coffee bar, and don't actually damage anything?
Finally, someone MUST attend this so-called church to know that they are super-pro-LGBT.
"Bored teenagers" are.... bored.
They wouldn't put this much "thought" into anything.
The main suspect HAS to be the lesbian "minister" or her "wife".

If they vandalized Scripture that targets homosexuality.. the homos did it themselves. Hoax.
