This is just sickening. We have millions of Islamists baying for our blood, and religious leaders in the West are still busy damning each other over their doctrinal differences.

This Protestant is disgusted by the tone and nastiness of the writing, along with the inability to recognize what is necessary for salvation according to the Bible (confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead), which is part of Orthodox doctrine just as it is Lutheran or Calvinist or even generic Pentecostal doctrine. Some people who think they are doing the work of Christ just need to SHUT THE HELL UP.
(and yes, I said hell, because that is where division in the church comes from)
Isn’t that special? JD Hall (if that’s his real name) has an opinion, and saw fit to express it. I’d like to thank him for that ... I love freedom of speech. It lets jerks like JD Hall identify themselves; I now know to ignore whatever other blather and drivel he sees fit to emit.

Pay attention folks to the Gospel according to JD Hall! Not sure how many Protestant denominations there currently are because new ones are popping up every year. But as I recall none of them have been around for more than four or five hundred years.

I think Mr. Hall could stand a bit more "scriptura" and not quite so much "sola". He seems to be forgetting some pretty important verses.

The nasty image that a Greek Orthodox believer sent to them may have triggered this kind of response.
If the Greek Orthodox church believes that Martin Luther is in hell because he preached the supremacy of Christ and the Scriptures, then I can see how the author of this piece would flip out.
I don’t necessarily condone this article; I do understand why he’d write it, though, in light of the nastiness coming from certain Greek Orthodox believers.
