I am copying a Freepmail I got from another person for Farmer Dean.

Farmer Dean, an all around good and likable guy, is starting chemo and more radiation for colon cancer today.

I asked him if he wanted us to pray for him and he was very thankful and said yes.

It is beautiful when Christians realize that prayers from other Christians, regardless of denomination, is a powerful thing.

My mom’s been going to Mass for him and he has been so very grateful.

Just a good guy whom I pray beats this through and through.

Thanks for the prayers and concern.I actually started chemo last Monday with an oral chemo agent.Today I started my radiation treatments and IV chemo with a pump I have to wear 24 hr a day for 5 days,then 2 days off.Repeat for 6 weeks,plus 27 more radiation doses.So far I have no side effects at all.The docs determined after a bunch of tests that the tumor has not spread at all.

Thank you.I would encourage everyone here to get their cancer screening tests.We found my tumor by accident during other testing for a totally unrelated problem.Don’t wait until you have some symptoms,go get your tests done.
