Famed Italian author criticizes the Holy Father for mirroring modern society by turning the Church into a place where everything is unstable and changeable.
The prominent Italian Catholic writer Vittorio Messori has expressed concern that Pope Francis is turning the Catholic Church into a kind of liquid society in which uncertainty and change are the only certainties.
Writing in the latest edition of the Italian Catholic magazine Il Timone, Messori took as a point of reference the Polish Jewish sociologist Zygmut Bauman who first introduced the idea of liquid modernity.
Bauman observed that the general trait of individualistic modern man is to flow through his own life like a tourist, changing places, jobs, spouses, values and even sexual orientation and gender. Bauman said the modern tendency is to exclude oneself from traditional networks of support, while at the same time freeing oneself from the restrictions or requirements those networks impose.

Liquid is good if you want to get something into a better mold.
If the Lord is endeavoring to set up a “better mold” for the Roman wing of the church, one might expect it also to melt. The mold might not come from above, but from the humble Jesus below, however.

"According to my opinion, and the opinions of many defectors of my caliber, only about 15% of time, money, and manpower is spent on espionage as such. The other 85% is a slow process which we call either ideological subversion, active measures, or psychological warfare. What it basically means is: to change the perception of reality of every American that despite of the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country.
It's a great brainwashing process which goes very slow and is divided into four basic stages.
The first stage being "demoralization".
It takes from 15 to 20 years to demoralize a nation. Why that many years? Because this is the minimum number of years required to educate one generation of students in the country of your enemy exposed to the ideology of [their] enemy. In other words, Marxism-Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least 3 generation of American students without being challenged or counterbalanced by the basic values of Americanism; American patriotism.
Most of the activity of the department [KGB] was to compile huge amount / volume of information, on individuals who were instrumental in creating public opinion. Publisher, editors, journalists, uh actors, educationalists, professors of political science. Members of parliament, representatives of business circles.
Most of these people were divided roughly into two groups: those who would tow the Soviet foreign policy, they would be promoted to positions of power through media and public manipulation; [and] those who refuse the Soviet influence in their own country would be character assassinated OR executed physically, come Revolution. Is there a reason the Bishops and Cardinals, and Priests for that matter, are allowing this to go on?
The only explanation I’ve heard is that we are in the final days, and this is the last Pope.

As a Catholic, I believe and trust what the CHURCH teaches that comes from Jesus Christ, and I follow those rules. I do NOT necessarily believe or trust the blathering pronouncements of her Dr. Doofenschmirtz "leadership," which so far is only mortal, and corrupible.

This article is chilling. Those cultural heritages no longer seeming relevant to such "tourists" in their own lives, consist in large part of established values based upon past experiences--organic efforts, indeed, to tilt people in the right direction. One may certainly question all past societal decisions; but for the largest Western Religious denomination, to act as though its own past teachings are no longer even relevant--certainly that is the implication here--is almost incredible.
As a non-Catholic, it may not be my place to wade in, here. But I am having a great difficulty seeing how this Pope could possibly justify, what it is suggested here!

Is there a reason the Bishops and Cardinals, and Priests for that matter, are allowing this to go on? According to Edward Pentin (the author of this piece) in another article, they are scared to death of Francis because he's so petty and vindictive and has already fired and humiliated a number of people.

He’s the first postmodernist pope.
The scourge of Postmodernism is infecting every aspect of western societies.
If you’re not familiar with postmodernism go to YouTube and search for “Jordan Peterson postmodernism”

It seems as if the Pope is making “situational ethics” that we discussed in philosophy and ethics classes back at St. Joe in the 1960s and how it conflicted with Christian morality is being given the prime place in the Church over Christian morality has we have known it and the Ten Commandments will probably be re-written next. Will the sign of the cross being replaced with the sign of Marx be coming next?

“The only explanation Ive heard is that we are in the final days, and this is the last Pope.”
Don’t be surprised if other “popes” pop up on the scene but the last valid pope might turn out to be this one (albeit the prophesied “bad” pope), or this pope-1 (still alive and the true pope in the eyes of some trads).
