The leftwing God haters have taken over the churches. I laughed when James Carville said this was going to happen back in the 90s. Boy, did I get this one wrong.

Most of these so called LEADERS have empty buildings on Sunday morning. The only thing they lead...is their own self important notions. MOST Christians are appalled, they certainly don;t speak for the MAJORITY of people I know who call themselves christians.

To the best of my knowledge, most of those denominations are bleeding membership.

Especially the United Methodist Church and Presbyterian Church USA. Meanwhile the more conservative Presbyterian Church of America is planting new congregations all over the place.

I won’t even say “May God have mercy on their souls...”

When you trade politics for Religion, this is what you get. Paid, Professional ‘churchies’ don’t give a rat’s patootie for the Commandments.

May they burn in eternity for their perfidy...

No surprise, exactly what Francis Schaeffer said: “If there are no absolutes by which to judge society, then society is absolute.” Francis Schaeffer, How Shall We Then Live? (Old Tappan NJ: Fleming H Revell Company, 1976), p. 224.

“Ye shall know them by their fruit”

They may call themselves whatever they like, but they’ve already been judged.

“Most Iowans, people of faith and no faith, believe in and are standing with every woman’s right to be in control of their bodies and the healthcare decisions that impact their lives. We stand with Iowa women, too,”

What if men said they had a right to choose not be responsible for babies they fathered? The response would appropriately be 'you should have thought about that before you had unprotected sex' with your body. Why is it then different for women? They had the exact same opportunity the men had, to make the responsible decision and make a choice about how they used their bodies - before having unprotected sex.

>>Mainline Protestant denominations led the letter in both numbers and prestige, with a female United Methodist bishop and priestesses from the Presbyterian Churches USA, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, United Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, American Baptist Churches USA, Reformed Church in America, Unity Church, Episcopal Church, and United Methodist Church signing the document.

I left the UMC after the 2013 Florida Annual Conference where a floor argument broke out over a resolution for pastors to counsel against abortion if a female congregant chose to tell the pastor she was planning to have one. Not to tell her no, or to bring any discipline. Just to counsel.

The female pastors were furious that anyone would even dare suggest such a thing.

Then, some male pastor got up and said something that made me feel sick. He said, “No one really even knows when life begins anyway.”

That’s not a Christian church anymore.

Gotta pray for these “Christian” leaders, as they may be in for harsh judgement as they will be held to high standards being leaders.

There’s a good chance they are not Christians after all, and will be likened to the Pastor in “Left Behind”.

.
The term “Christian” is overly broad, and thus in this sense meaningless in this regard.

There are literally millions who would identify as “Christian” who haven’t the slightest idea who our savior really was or what he did when he walked the Earth.

In the letter supporting slaughter in the womb, the signatories described as “Lutheran” are from the XXXA, which is not Evangelical, Lutheran, or a Church (in the proper sense of the words).

Opponents of the Heartbeat Bill, including signers of the Des Moines Register op-ed, claim that its framers have "arguments based only in religious beliefs,"

Just what do these idiots think laws against murder and theft are based on?

I guess they can show me where in the Constitution it states that an abortion is a right, because I must have missed it.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

Some day, these “Chrisian” leaders & those who are proponents of/engage in killing babies will find out exactly what “woe to those who ...” means.
