Sorry, but I disagree. You may not like the current definition of homosexuality, but every dictionary I've looked at defines it as being attracted to those of the same sex, not just engaging in sexual intercourse with those of the same sex. Language is the mechanism by which we choose to communicate, and I believe that standards are necessary to communicate accurately. Now maybe you believe that all dictionaries have been taken over by leftist whackos, but I'm a little more realistic.

No, it's simple fact:

Homsexual:
1 : of, relating to, or characterized by a tendency to direct sexual desire toward another of the same sex
2 : of, relating to, or involving sexual intercourse between persons of the same sex

One can stop having intercourse with someone of the same sex. That doesn't mean they'll stop having sexual desire towards another of the same sex (any more than a heterosexual who abstains from having sex ceases to feel sexual attraction). Can it happen? Can the desire be changed? Quite possibly. But to say that homosexuality is simply an action is completely false.

In any case, you are correct that this is not a subject for the easter egg event at the White House. Should individuals try to make it a subject for the event, they should be removed. Should certain gay parents attend the event with their children just to enjoy the event for what it is, they should be allowed to stay just like any other family.

Not quite. Not having sexual encounters with someone of the same sex doesn't necessarily stop someone from being attracted to the members of the same sex. It is the attraction that makes someone gay, not the action.

I have to agree that cancelling the program was pretty ridiculous. I don't usually make a big deal of being gay (or even mention it to anyone not interested), but I have to say that if your objective is to promote diversity, it's silly to exclude someone just on the basis of their (current or former) sexual orientation. And any gay person who is "uncomfortable" being around an ex-gay needs to grow up and face the fact that not everyone who thinks they're gay is going to be happy with that fact and may, indeed, want to change.

Which is what the courts are for. I fail to see how a government blessed marriage (vs a non-government bless marriage) is going to limit or resolve those issues.

A true conservative would was the state government out of the issue as well. There should be no government recognized "marriage" entity, IMHO.

There should be no inheritance disputes as everyone should have a will.

Frankly, it's time the government got out of the marriage business altogether.

Who said anything about talking about your sexual behaviour in the class room? There are other ways students may find out their teacher is gay (like if they live in the same neighborhood).
