Prayers for his safety, Dear Lord...

My fervent prayers are with Huck, and all those involved in this tragedy, both those who were there, and their families in New York and in Washington. God is Sovereign, and He is in control.

Oh man, this is not good. Prayers sent.

I heard some people died trying to rescue others, when the buildings collapsed. That's what scares me here. Huck, get back to us when you can! What were you doing up there anyway, Southern boy?

I'm sick, as I'm sure all of us are.

The USA will never be destroyed from the outside, though! It isn't possible. Those bastards will find that out!

Prayers for Huck and all. Don't forget to check into giving blood- all the blood banks and hospitals will be sending what they can and will need to replenish for local use too. Some people will be long in recovery and that means all the blood you can give.

I am very concerned because the post was made prior to the top of the towers collapsing. People interviewed in the street have said they were lucky to get out alive because there were hundreds of people buried in the rubble.

Terrorists are not going to destroy our nation with airplanes and car bombs. We can withstand these physical attacks. The terrorists, even if they don't touch another target, have accomplished thier mission. They've caused fear in the hearts of Americans everywhere.

What has the potential to destroy the nation, however, is our reaction to these acts of terrorism. Will we be guided by vengeance or justice? Will we forego the limitations of the Constitution for expediency, or will we remain a beacon to others as an example of how we are a nation governed by just laws of the people's consent? Much can happen in the coming hours that will either make the case for one path or the other.

Throughout this ordeal, let's try to keep a level head... all the way up to the time when we see whoever is responsible brought to quick, unfaltering, unerring justice.

Until that happens, grab your weapons... and keep your families safe. God bless.

Prayers also to areafiftyone who reported watching the Twin Towers Collapse from his/her office building and hasn't been heard from since.

Telephone contact with NYC is spotty right now. More than likely we will hear from everyone soon enough, but it sure doesn't hurt to talk to the man upstairs in the meantime.
