Daily Prayer Thread 9/15/01

Almighty God, Great Physician, Most Merciful Father...our needs are so great. Only You can help and heal us. Only Your power is sufficient for our enormous needs and the tasks we must perform. Thank You for adopting us into Your family and providing for all of our needs!

Father, I stand in agreement with my FR brothers and sisters praying for the peace and relief only You can bring. Dorothy's husband has by now received medical attention, but still needs Your healing touch. Earlene's family and friends need the comfort and support only You can provide them with. GalFromTheBay needs Your special blessings for a new job that she loves and can flourish in. The little boy who we have seen in that photo needs to be found, healed of his wounds, and returned to those that truly love him. So very many people across this great nation You have given to us are hurting and hoping their loved ones will be found alive beneath the rubble of the WTC. Our rescuers need Your strength, guidance, protection and help. Our President needs Your divine support, guidance, and protection from all who would seek to destroy him and render his Presidency ineffective. Our young men and women that are being called to active duty need Your strength, inspiration, guidance, skill, courage and determination to complete the work You have placed before them. My daughter needs to come home.

Without You, Mighty and Most Merciful Father, we have no hope. Without You we have no future and would eternally be victims of the great evil which continuously seeks to devour us. Without You there is nothing but futility and empty words. But You ARE on Your throne in Heaven! You HAVE received the souls of those callously murdered by evil men who know nothing but destruction and violence! You WILL cause all agents of evil to be judged for their actions! You ARE binding up our wounds and filling us with determination to do what we must to protect the citizens of this world! You have provided us with a President that truly loves You and seeks Your face and will! You have in every way provided for us...even when we have turned our faces from You! You, and You alone ARE the great I AM! Thank You Father for ALL these things...and so much more!

Father, I know You are providing us with everything we need. I know the answers to our prayers are on their way. I know You are sending comfort and healing to all in need. I know Betsy will come home. Thank You for the time we spend in prayer...time spent aligning ourselves with Your will and Your purposes. You have heard all of our cries...and You are answering each one! Thank You, Most Merciful and Patient Father! In Jesus' name...Amen!
