Good news, sort of, for Bill Clinton and Madeleine Albright. Having persisted in telling tales at cross-purposes to explain why the Clinton administration did nothing about Osama bin Laden and the al Qaeda network for all those Clinton years, these two erstwhile office-holders may now read from the same page

When you read editorials like this one. One question keeps coming to my mind!

How much money did OBL deposit in Swiss and Cayman Island accounts for Clintoon as protection money? It was the best insurance policy that OBL ever bought!

Whenever, you see and hear of this behavior by Clintoon, you have to follow the money!

Again: has anyone found a link between Bin Laden and James Riady, of Moslem Indonesia?

Nero fiddled while Rome burned; Clinton diddled while Al-Qaeda set fires.

Bingo, you have probably hit on the link! However, the FBI/CIA would be afraid to go there even if they had thousands of pieces of hard evidence! Can you imagine the turmoil if data showing that the link you suggested came out! Hilldebeast instead of being booed in NYC would have to flee to avoid being tarred and feathered for beginners!

Now we know why you are called the chairman. I just know that money caused this type of behavior with X42 while he was 42!

'a link between Bin Laden and James Riady?'

Just ask yourself: Would the Clintons be so low as to accept Bin Laden's money (laundered through Riady) as a "bribe" and, thus, to allow the Arab to avoid reckoning for terrorism?

Of course they would. They have sufficiently demonstrated their "strength of character" to everyone, even their supporters, and that--had the opportunity presented itself--they would take the money.

Is Riady still under some sort of investigation, one that might unearth a connection with bin Laden, or was he, too, allowed to skate?

Then there were reports that Bin Laden's supporters and followers - from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand - were meeting at the Indonesian holiday resort of Batam, not far from Singapore.

Bin Laden's connection to Indonesia has long been rumoured. So the search went on.

Muhammad Naufal Dunggio, a researcher at an Islamic university who leads an allied radical group, said he, too, had studied in the United States and had not liked it.

"I lived in Virginia," he said as recruits listened, "and I'm telling you, the American people, they do not like Muslims."

Mr. Dunggio said the mission of his group, the Hezbollah Front, was to conduct "sweeps" against Indonesians closely allied with the United States. The first target, he said, would be James T. Riady, the businessman who pleaded guilty to American campaign finance violations with contributions to President Bill Clinton. "We went to his office last week," Mr. Dunggio said, "and told the guard, `We'll be back again if and when America attacks Afghanistan.' "

If his group is going to sweep up Indonesians, he was asked, who is going to sweep for Americans. "Ah," he said, "that's another organization. We've divided up our responsibilities."

Would you perhaps let me adjust that sentence to "Stench of Character"?

Clinton, Berger, et al, were like the mafia. If you show up at the get go with $150k, they know there is more. Futher, like any good buisnessman, they have to defend their price structure. Imagine what would of happened if word leaked out that the going price for treason wasn't millions but could be had for 10% of what you and your greedy friends paid! No, sorry, 150 large is just a starting point.

I hope this reply goes through. I have been bounced off my ISP, 4 times when I try to reply. Jake Reno must be watching me.

Thanks for your response. We have been missing each other for a couple of months!

I just don't have the back ground knowledge re Indonsia and the players that you do.

However, I have a very long time and wise friend who has been watching the Clintoons since they moved to Arkrazy, and he became the AG.

This friend said that Clintoon is absolutely money driven on everything he does. He was poor white trash with some unearned degrees when he came home to Arkrazy to enter politics.

This friend said that Clintoon's desire/need for more and more money exceeds his need for political power and sexual needs. Of course having money enabled him to have political power and serial sexual contacts.

My friend said that when any wierd behavior surfaces like Clintoon ignoring data where OBL was, you have to check the money, find out where it was coming from and then see his political moves or politically blocking moves to pay for the money!

I think that this was true during his entire time as 42 until he became X42. If we only knew of who has given him money to buy his influence, we probably would be truly scared.

Good to hear from you! IMHO, whatever Clinton says or does is payback for money or RICO to force money to come to him!

Thanks for your knowledge on this stinky mess.

My knowledge of the players here is minimal. I just know that Clintoon will not do anything without money. The acquistion of money is his primary motivation above his need for political power and sexual power. The money enables the political and sexual power!

Please read my reply #14 in this thread re the long time history of Clintoon's addiction to more money!

I saw Ijaz state on Bill O'Reilly's show that he personally had given $300,000 to $400,000 and had raised another (approximately) $500,000. He stated that he had even met with Clinton.

Nero fiddled while Rome burned

Classic. A fitting analogy.

Clinton's "loathing" of all things traditional in this country is probably the only constant in his psyche.

Again: has anyone found a link between Bin Laden and James Riady, of Moslem Indonesia? Not to Riady, but an even better link.

I posted a link several months ago (which I can't find anymore) titled (something like) "President's Friend was Lawyer for Bin Laden Fundraiser." Maybe someone can find it in the archives.

Anyway, in the article there was a reference that Vernon Jordan was the lawyer for a Saudi banker who was the chief fundraiser for Bin Laden.

How's that for coincidences?

. . . the scandal-riddled Clinton administration simply and disastrously failed to function

You know, of course, the liberal democRats will say that bad things happened during Klintoon's watch because:

1. he couldn't properly do his job because:
2. he was being persecuted by a VRWC because:
3. he didn't want to discuss his personal business ("it was only sex") with a grand jury or the court.

And because all his time was tied up with defending himself against Star's investigation ("it was only sex") into perjury charges and White Water ("there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute and lead to a conviction" = "in which neither Clinton died anything wrong") he, obviously couldn't function as President the way he wanted to (barf); Don't you see? Clinton couldn't do his job because of the VRWC. It's all our fault that bin Laden killed 4,000 Americans.

Here's the reference that I saw: From this link to a copy of a USA Today article:

Saudi Money Aiding Bin Laden

By Jack Kelley, USA TODAY

WASHINGTON - More than a year after the U.S. Embassy bombings in East Africa, prominent businessmen in Saudi Arabia continue to transfer tens of millions of dollars to bank accounts linked to indicted terrorist Osama bin Laden, senior U.S. intelligence officials told USA TODAY.

The money transfers, which began more than five years ago, have been used to finance several terrorist acts by bin Laden, including the attempted assassination in 1995 of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Ethiopia, the officials said.

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright is expected to raise the issue with Prince Sultan, the Saudi defense minister, during his visit to Washington next week. Saudi Arabia, the main U.S. ally in the Persian Gulf, has pledged to fight terrorism.

According to a Saudi government audit acquired by U.S. intelligence, five of Saudi Arabia's top businessmen ordered the National Commercial Bank (NCB), the kingdom's largest, to transfer personal funds, along with $3 million diverted from a Saudi pension fund, to New York and London banks.

The money was deposited into the accounts of Islamic charities, including Islamic Relief and Blessed Relief, that serve as fronts for bin Laden.

The businessmen, who are worth more than $5 billion, are paying bin Laden "protection money" to stave off attacks on their businesses in Saudi Arabia, intelligence officials said. Bin Laden, whose family runs the largest Saudi construction firm, has called for the overthrow of the Saudi government.

The money transfers were discovered in April after the royal family ordered an audit of NCB and its founder and former chairman, Khalid bin Mahfouz, U.S. officials say. Mahfouz is now under "house arrest" at a military hospital in the Saudi city of Taif, intelligence officials said.

His successor, Mohammad Hussein Al-Amoudi, also heads the Capitol Trust Bank in New York and London, which U.S. and British officials are investigating for allegedly transferring money to bin Laden. Amoudi's Washington lawyer, Vernon Jordan, could not be reached for comment.

Mahfouz's son, Abdul Rahman Mahfouz, is on the board of Blessed Relief in Sudan. Suspects in the Mubarak attack are linked to the charity.

Bin Laden faces U.S. criminal charges for allegedly masterminding the 1998 bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania that killed 224 people. Bin Laden, who is in Afghanistan, denies the charges.

Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar bin Sultan declined to comment on the reports.

===========================

Another interesting article is this one that I found on Google. It has all sorts of "coincidental" links between Clinton, Gore, and Bin Laden operatives.
