Liberals love to tout how great alternative energy is compared to fossil fuels. What the same environmentalists refuse to acknowledge is the costs that will be paid by the energy companies customers. While people such as Obama and Clinton continue to push for alternative energy by acting as if it’s a surefire way to lower energy costs, Germany has proven that a lie. The German government has officially declared it will cease building any new offshore wind turbines in an effort to lower energy costs for the European Union’s richest nation.

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: There's a Rasmussen poll out. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Come on, Rush, Rasmussen?" Now, wait a minute, folks, there have been stories -- I've shared them with you -- about how the Republicans had better stop this business of rejecting the polls, right? There was one, I can't remember who wrote it. I think it was the Washington Post. I know I was mentioned in it as one of many who thought that the polls were wrong on Romney in 2012. But he's right. I mean, whoever wrote the story was right. We did think...

The new law sharpens punishments for anyone convicted of sexual assault regardless of nationality, but it specifies jail-then-deportation rules for convicted refugees who have sought asylum in Germany. The changes appear aimed at two overlapping targets: closing legal loopholes over sexual assaults amid complaints that German codes are too lax and addressing mounting public backlash after the country absorbed the bulk of the wave of migrants and refugees from the Middle East and beyond last year. But some lawmakers and activists oppose linking the two issues, claiming it could further stigmatize refugees and others as German public opinion increasingly turns...

A spokesperson for the Vermont Department of Health confirms to Breitbart News that “three refugees [have been] diagnosed with TB in Vermont over the past seven months.” One case was diagnosed in December 2015, and the other two cases were diagnosed in 2016. No one other than a refugee has been diagnosed with active TB in Vermont during the first six months of 2016, the spokesperson adds. The stunning admission comes after Breitbart News reported that the number of active TB cases in Vermont tripled from two in 2014 to seven in 2015. “In 2015 Active TB Cases were seven....

It was the last day of Camp Ramadan, and a sea of smiling parents had their arms outstretched, holding up more than a dozen cellphones to capture all of the song and dance and children's humor contained in the end-of-camp assembly. And onstage, a normally polite and bookish 11-year-old was channeling Donald Trump. "As a leader, who do you wish to serve?" a child, playing the role of debate interviewer, asked the boy's character — a certain political candidate with the alias of Ronald McDonald. "I wish to serve my very fantastic self," answered Amir-Abbas, 11, provoking peals of laughter...

Don't be fooled by fans of iPads and Android tablets -- it's much easier to get real work done on a Windows-powered 2-in-1 PC than it is on Android or iOS-powered hardware. Over the years I've used countless different form-factors of computing devices, and I still believe that there are no better devices for getting work done on than the desktop and laptop. But if it's a tablet you want, 2-in-1 systems powered by Windows 10 leave iPads and Android slates eating their dust. I've been through my phase of working on the iPad and a selection of Android tablets,...

Chaput issues pastoral guidelines saying divorced and gay Catholics must avoid sexJim Kenney did not mince words when a Twitter follower asked the Philadelphia mayor his thoughts on a new set of pastoral guidelines for clergy and other church leaders issued by Archdiocese of Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput. The guidelines say divorced and remarried parishioners should abstain from sex and live "like brother and sister" if they want to receive Holy Communion and haven't had their previous marriage annulled. The guidelines say gay Catholics should abstain from sex, too. Keeping his response within Twitter's 140-character limit, Kenney said Chaput's directives...

Americans who acknowledge the Constitution as our supreme law -- indeed, the fundamental and paramount law governing government itself -- are entirely justified in saying that government is the biggest and most frequent lawbreaker in our society -- with no close second. Liberals who instinctively rely on big-government overreach for much of their agenda, and some conservatives perhaps hewed by political correctness and their own adherence to big government, may not agree. However, when adding up the number of daily constitutional and statutory violations by government at all levels, including those that never get to court for various reasons, no...

Hillary Clinton announces debt-free college plan Hillary Clinton announces debt-free college plan 4 Hours Ago|00:46 Hillary Clinton's newly unveiled higher education plan would eliminate tuition for families with incomes up to $125,000 at in-state public colleges and universities. Roughly 150 FBI agents were assigned to the Hillary Clinton email case. It was a criminal investigation to determine if the Secretary of State violated any laws when she a) installed an unauthorized email server in her home, b) conducted State business on that server, c) sent and received classified information on that server, and d) stored classified information on that server. If it was determined that any of the above were crimes, then a criminal indictment would apply. Tuesday, FBI Director James Comey, announced that no charges would be sought. Where are the FBI agent resignations? I don’t ask...
