Conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham confirmed Tuesday that she is considering a Senate bid against Sen. Tim Kaine in Virginia in 2018. Ingraham confirmed the Washington Examiner's report that she is open to a campaign, saying that she is "considering" launching a bid against Kaine and that she hasn't made a decision yet. Making good on a promise to slash government, President-elect Trump has asked his incoming team to pursue spending and staffing cuts. Insiders said that the spending reductions in some departments could go as high as 10 percent and staff cuts to 20 percent, numbers that would rock Washington if he follows through. While so much of what we hear about academia has a extreme leftist bent to it, it's important to remember that there are a number of conservative professors floating around. They simply tend to remain silent for obvious reasons. Civil rights groups are concerned that the police will violate their rights during the Inauguration protests so they intend to record their behavior. Meanwhile, the ACLU is demanding that the police turn off their body worn cameras during the events. D.C. Police say their policy is to only record when there is a police activity and they do not consider monitoring protests an activity.

My understanding is that a Congressman/woman represents the district which means all Democrats, Republicans, Independents etc.despite their political party.
