I am in love with successful people. They inspire me to be better than I am now, to reach my full potential just as they have. I don’t seek to tear them down to bolster myself; rather, I seek to learn from them to raise myself to their standards. Of course, some, more than others, are lucky, talented, or more skillful at achievement just as some are lacking in those areas. We judge a proper economic system on whether that system enables more people to have bigger slices of the economic pie, not on the difficulty it poses for the...

Protesters in Seattle threw rocks, fireworks and explosives at police officers during violent confrontations on Saturday, police officials said. In updates on Twitter, the Seattle Police Department said the chaotic scene near its East Precinct station was a “riot,” with some demonstrators breaking windows and setting fire to property in the area. In June, Mayor Jenny Durkan had ordered police to abandon the East Precinct station, which had been the site of almost daily confrontations between officers and people protesting the killing of George Floyd. At least 16 people were arrested on Saturday for either assaulting an officer, obstruction or...

It seems that President Trump is trailing in the polls again. In other "shocking" news, it seems that only women menstruate; "green energy" is a massive scam; Trump-Russia collusion was a massive hoax; media leftists hate America; and on everything from masks to guns to lives that matter, liberals are hypocrites. Americans — especially Trump supporters — should pay little to no attention to the national polls on the 2020 U.S. presidential election. Such polls are usually not designed to inform us — as they should — but rather to form public opinion. This is true of the polls in...

In the two months since George Floyd was killed by a white Minneapolis police officer, the world has changed significantly. For example, major businesses in America are fully onboard with the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement as almost 300 top corporations have pledged support for the cause. These corporate leaders have been joined by all the professional sports franchises and political leaders of both parties have expressed solidarity with BLM. Any expression of “All Lives Matter” has been deemed to be racist. For example, a Sacramento Kings broadcaster lost his job for tweeting “All Lives Matter.” In New Orleans, a...

On July 24th, Conservative columnist and activist Lloyd Marcus passed away at the age of 71. Marcus suffered from a sudden heart attack, passing one day after his wedding anniversary. He was born on October 24, 1948. Surviving Marcus is his wife Mary, who made this announcement: “With my sad, heavy, and deeply broken heart Jesus suddenly came and reclaimed our Lloyd Marcus, The Unhyphenated American. Loved by many all over the world with his warm smile, optimism, hearty exuberance, his wise written words in columns, songs, videos, artworks and books, Lloyd Marcus is deeply missed. His family and dear...

During last week’s study, I wrote that our nightly prayers include reciting the "Magnificat," – also known as “Mary’s Song.” Encouraged by the response in comments and personal emails, I thought readers might be interested in exploring the prayer that my husband and I recite before the Magnificat. It is called the “prayer of protection,” but its formal name is “Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel.” Furthermore, we say this prayer whenever we begin a journey or anytime we need a hedge of protection in this dangerous world. (Which means often.) Warning: This prayer is powerful, effective, comforting, and addictive – all...

Truly amazing that we were able to uncover this footage of FNN reacting to the Pearl Harbor Attack! It's always very interesting when history appears to repeat itself... Also, if CNN people are reading this, this is inarguably parody covered under Fair Use (17 U.S.C. § 107) and you guys tend to fare poorly in court with young conservative men (see: Nick Sandmann) so just take it on the chin and stop being dishonest hacks. #News #Parody #Satire Please subscribe to my channel! Update #2: This is amazon’s ninth non-answer to my question of why have they suppressed the sale of my first anti-Obama e-book, after it had already sold more than 1,500 copies during the past four years. This time, they asked me what my name is! This new post is my second update to a previous post that I made. This is my original post: After selling more than 1,500 copies of my first Obama e-book over the past four years, amazon has withdrawn it from sale, and refuses to explain whyAnd this is the first update: Update: These are amazon’s eight different...

The New York Jets won’t keep safety Jamal Adams around after all. The team finally dealt Adams on Saturday, sending him to the Seattle Seahawks. In exchange for Adams, the Jets received a first-round pick in both the 2021 and 2022 NFL drafts, a 2021 third-round pick and safety Bradley McDougald. The Seahawks also received a 2022 fourth-round pick. While Adams is being traded, he’s not going to his dream destination. In June, Adams — who is from Texas — told a Dallas Cowboys fan he was “trying to” get to Dallas.

magine a state’s attorney general accepting staff who were paid by a foundation that was funded by an out of state billionaire who had financial and political interests he wanted advanced. These volunteer assistant attorneys general waste little time filing lawsuits against the billionaire’s adversaries in Minnesota. They pursue their actions knowing full well that even if they succeed, the only result will be higher prices for all Minnesotans. That’s exactly what is happening right now in the Minnesota attorney general’s office. Recently, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison’s office filed a lawsuit against the American Petroleum Institute, Exxon Mobil, and...

Today would have been Mary Jo Kopechne’s 80th birthday. Of course, Mary Jo didn’t even make it to 29 – she died on July 18, 1969, when Sen. Ted Kennedy drunkenly drove his mother’s 1967 Oldsmobile Delmont off a small bridge into a tidal pond on Chappaquiddick on Martha’s Vineyard. Teddy, drunk and with an expired driver’s license, swam to safety and didn’t bother to even report the death (by suffocation, not drowning) for 10 hours. By then he’d already made more than a dozen long-distance phone calls off the island, including one to another of his girlfriends in Palm...

It’s just the flu, bro. https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/testing/tracker/overview Link above gives weekly testing data by state. In particular, the percentage of tests that are positive is a good leading indicator of what is happening. In Texas and some other hot spots that number has been trending up so the paranoia will also continue to trend up. We need that number to be flat week over week so that politicians will begin to think about not being tyrants. My understanding is that when percentage of tests that are positive drops it means that the disease is having a hard time finding people who...

The lack of clean drinking water in impoverished areas of the globe contributed more to disease and mortality than COVID19 has or will ever have.

In a few short years Black Lives Matter (BLM) has influenced blacks more than black Christians have. This explains the outrage over George Floyd’s homicide by former officer Derek Chauvin, and the deafening silence over high black abortion rates and black-on-black murders. BLM ignores real issues hurting black communities because black Christians do. According to their own website, BLM wants to disrupt the “Western-prescribed nuclear family structure,†promote LGBTQ rights and advance Marxism. Sadly, few black evangelicals have the courage and knowledge to condemn BLM that seeks to undermine Christian principles. Here’s more ideals all Christians should denounce:SOCIALISM: Socialism is an economic...

The concerted Republican effort to fritter away both policy and principle in these pandemic times continued apace this week—indeed, it leapt forward. Who needs Nancy Pelosi demanding more spending, more unemployment benefits and more union payoffs when Steven Mnuchin and Mitch McConnell will do it for her? Five months after the coronavirus’s arrival, Washington has settled into a predictable loop. Speaker Pelosi’s House unveils sweeping virus legislation with vast dollar figures and progressive policy demands. Republicans argue among themselves. Treasury Secretary Mnuchin crashes in to “negotiate” the GOP back to their own 5-yard line. Senate Majority Leader McConnell reminds his...

A Black Lives Matter protester has been shot dead during a march in Austin, as a youth detention center and police precinct have been torched in Seattle and demonstrators gather again in Portland amid stand-offs with Donald Trump's federal agents. One protester was shot and killed when gunshots were fired during a protest in downtown Austin, Texas, Saturday night. Shocking footage showed people marching along the street holding banners demanding an end to police brutality and racism when loud shots rang out.

An excused absence for his grandfather’s funeral saw Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams eventually being photographed at a strip club. Understandably, the NBA now has some questions. The league is investigating Williams’ trip outside the bubble at Disney World as it figures out how long the reigning Sixth Man of the Year has to remain in quarantine upon return, according to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne and Bobby Marks.

President Donald Trump loves branding his opponents. Boy, do I have the brand for Joe Biden. Other than "Basement Biden." Or Biden is the leader of the "Dementia-crats." Those are effective and memorable, too. But nothing beats this little ditty: Biden stands for "Biggest Idiot Democrats Ever Nominated." Forget Biden's nonstop stumbling and bumbling. Forget that he appears to not know where he is (he talked about Vermont but was in New Hampshire), what day it is (remember "Super Thursday"?), what year it is (remember in the presidential debate when old Joe said supporters could "go to Joe 30330") or...
