Michael Moore's fakery fest "Fahrenheit 9/11" features in one of its scenes a newspaper headline that reads: "Latest Florida recount shows Gore won election." The words were apparently designed to perpetuate the myth that Bush "stole" the 2000 presidential election. A lawyer for the Pantagraph newspaper in Bloomington, Ill., sent a letter to Moore accusing him of misappropriating the headline from the Pantagraph's pages. From what I have heard and read over the years, Austin, TX is the Lone Star State's lib central. Y'know, UT, ZZ Top, Waylon and Willie and all. (Don't worry, I'm a social conservative. Several pundits have predicted that there will be a huge turnout for the Florida Democratic primary Tuesday, particularly among black voters. Three years after helping render punch-card voting systems obsolete, Broward County voters have proven that no election system is foolproof.
