Donald Trump has been widely scorned by the liberal elite for his stances on immigration. Trump called for a pause in immigration to "find out what’s going on.” Not unexpectedly, that statement was bastardized by the liberal media into a total and complete ban on Muslims for all time. In August Trump refined his plan to call for "extreme vetting" of immigrants: To fight “radical Islamic terrorism” and to “make America safe again,” Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump proposed today administering a new, ideological test for immigrants who want to enter the United States. “We should only admit into this...

Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump tangled over how to best protect the country from terrorist threats, after a series of weekend bombings and bomb scares in New York and New Jersey returned security issues to the forefront of the presidential campaign. Speaking to reporters before boarding her campaign plane... Mrs. Clinton called for calm vigilance and accused Mr. Trump of sowing division and playing into the hands of terrorists. Mr. Trump renewed his warning about the dangers of unchecked immigration and called for allowing police more latitude in profiling suspects, including by race. He also criticized Mrs. Clinton’s...

If the presidential election were the Olympics, bed-wetting would be a sport and Democrats would be the undisputed gold-medal winners. Every four years, they grouse about their nominee and then freak out when a race they believe said nominee should win looks as though it’s lost. Remember what happened when President Obama muffed the first debate with Mitt Romney in 2012? And today, the closing poll numbers between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have Democrats in a near panic. Look, I get it. The race between Clinton and Trump should not even be close. Or, as my colleague Eugene Robinson...

CAFE is just one of the many policies that make doing business difficult in America Ford Motor Company made headlines on Wednesday, September 9, when, during an investor conference, CEO Mark Fields told attendees that it will invest $1.6 billion building a manufacturing plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and will move all of its small car production there during the next two to three years. The announcement was hardly news as Ford has been talking about the shift for more than a year. But in the throes of an election that has both candidates decrying companies that send jobs...

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is accusing Donald Trump of treasonous behavior, because he’s specified that radial Islam is responsible for the surge of terrorist acts around the world. “The language that Mr. Trump has used is giving aid and comfort to our adversaries,” Clinton said, citing an article by former head of the counter terrorist center Mike Olsen citing Trump’s tough rhetoric as fueling Islamic state recruitment. She described Trump as a “recruiting sergeant” for ISIS. Clinton made her remarks on the airport tarmac prior to leaving for an event directed at millennials in Philadelphia, speaking out about the...

This is serious and genuinely alarming. Bruce Schneider is an expert in cyber-security, the Chief Technology Officer of Resilient, an IBM Company, a fellow at Harvard’s Berkman Center, and a board member of Electronic Frontier Foundation — an organization defending our rights in the digital world. In a blog post, Schneider sounds the alarm that in the past year, the websites of major companies that provide the Internet’s basic services repeatedly have been attacked, each time more sophisticated than the last, which suggests “someone” is practicing how to take down the Internet by learning from the companies’ defensive moves. Below...

According to Egyptian news media President Fattah al-Sisi will meet republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for the first time during his visit to New York for a scheduled U.N. General Assembly meeting. President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi is expected to meet US republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on the sidelines of his visit to New York, state news agency MENA reported. Al-Sisi will arrive in New York on Sunday afternoon to attend the 71st debate of the United Nations (UN) general assembly. Besides this, the Egyptian president is also expected to hold a set of bilateral meetings with his counterparts from...

The anti-Trump immigrant voter surge has failed to materialize, as advocates’ hopes of recruiting 1 million green card holders to become citizens in time to vote have fallen short. From December, when the advocates announced their effort, to the end of June, which marks an informal application deadline for citizenship before Election Day, some 600,000 naturalization applications were filed with the immigration service. That was 9 percent more than the same period in 2012, the previous presidential election year, but way less than the 1 million that advocates sought, and it doesn’t come close to other citizenship surges. Hispanic rights...

Despite mounting evidence that Hillary Clinton is hiding serious health problems, she will press on in her campaign because of a crazed lust for power, which ultimately will propel her to self-destruction, contends a longtime critic. That’s the dire prediction of someone who has been following Mrs. Clinton’s progress from the beginning, “Billy” Clinton’s childhood friend and former romantic partner Dolly Kyle, the author of “Hillary The Other Woman.”

Half of likely voters think the country is in such deep trouble that a completely different kind of leader is needed to come in and shake things up. That sounds like good news for Donald Trump. Yet the latest Fox News Poll also finds a majority of voters don’t think Trump is qualified to be president -- and doesn’t have the right temperament to serve. “While the race is tight, some underlying attitudes about the candidates heavily favor Hillary Clinton, such as temperament and experience,” says Democratic pollster Chris Anderson, who conducts the Fox News Poll along with Republican pollster...

Most voters consider Donald J. Trump a risky choice for president, saying he lacks the right temperament and values, but he is seen as more transformative and better at handling the economy than Hillary Clinton, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll. Mrs. Clinton, despite being as disliked as Mr. Trump, is seen as a safer option. Majorities of voters say she has the temperament for the job and would better handle foreign policy. Only 36 percent of them, however, view her as an agent of change. That perception deeply worries some Clinton campaign advisers, who want the...

Election 2016 took a detour through the doctor’s office this week: Dr. Lisa Bardack. Dr. Harold Bornstein. And, it seems only fitting, Dr. Mehmet Oz. Donald Trump’s decision to deliver his long-hyped health records release on Dr. Oz’s show is as strange as everything else about this election. Yet, much like the key decisions that made him the Republican nominee, Trump’s play was crazy like a fox. The week began with Hillary Clinton’s near-collapse while trying to make an early exit out of a Sunday morning New York City 9/11 memorial. The dramatic video has now been viewed by essentially...

Is Hillary Clinton out of ammo to use against Donald Trump? By Howard Kurtz Published September 16, 2016 As poll after poll shows the presidential race tightening, Hillary Clinton has already fired most of her heavy artillery at Donald Trump. She has called him temperamentally unfit, too dangerous for the Oval Office and ignorant about foreign policy. She has said he makes racist statements and that many of his followers are in fact racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic and Islamophobic. She has said he’s built his campaign on prejudice and paranoia. She has denigrated his business record, mocked his corporate bankruptcies...

Donald Trump's campaign website implores voters to "Help Me Stop Crooked Hillary From Rigging This Election!" by signing up as observers. He warned people at an Aug. 12 campaign event in Altoona, Pennsylvania, that Clinton could win the state only by cheating, and he asked supporters to "go down to certain areas and watch and study, and make sure other people don't come in and vote five times." Less than a week later, Trump's running mate, Mike Pence, encouraged a crowd in Manchester, New Hampshire, to help ensure a fair election by serving as poll watchers because "you are the...

Just when Hillary Clinton’s “deplorables” comment set a new low for insensitivity, we saw another real zinger this week from former Clinton White House staffer William Galston. In a smug Wall Street Journal op-ed, Galston deemed the “war on coal” a claim perpetuated by Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to reinforce the coal community’s perceived “victimhood.” Meanwhile, back on Planet Earth, a few things have happened: + In 2008, President Obama promised, “If somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them.” + The president’s subsequent MATS rule shut down at least 33 GW...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: The polling data today continues to roll in. We have audio sound bites coming up. We have some people who think that the race is over. It's essentially over. Let's start here with... Grab 20 and 21. We'll start with Frank Luntz. Normally, what I would do is tell you that I've got these and then I would wait 'til they come up naturally, but I'm not gonna make you wait. This is Luntz last night with O'Reilly on The O'Reilly Factor. Question: "What do you think about the CNN poll just released about Florida, Trump 47,...

Regardless of who wins the election in November, here are 10 things that I think he or she should keep in mind: --The old media rules do not apply. Do we still have to emphasize this in an era of smartphones, Facebook and Twitter? You do not control the media, and the media does not control the message. Oh, I know that the Obama administration has made media manipulation an art form -- and that the media has been more than happy to comply. But everyone is the media now. We found out about Hillary Clinton's pneumonia because of a...

Donald Trump makes a speech about the economy at The Economic Club of New York on Thursday. "Not one single idea she's got will create one net American job or create one new dollar of American wealth for our workers," Trump said of Hillary Clinton. "The only thing she can offer is a welfare check. That's about it. Our plan will produce paychecks and they're going to be great paychecks for millions of people now unemployed or underemployed."

But still way too high... It doesn’t matter who you are. If you’re awake, if you’re paying attention to what’s going on in the world around you, there’s a good chance you don’t trust the press. Considering the inarguable fact that most mainstream media outlets are little more than regurgitators for Democrat talking points, this is hardly surprising. If they ever really existed, the days of non-partisan journalistic curiosity and integrity are long gone. We know this, and we cite examples every day. Now we have some polling that shows just how far the mighty fourth estate has fallen. According...
