CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE, April 18, 2012, (LifeSiteNews.com) – Planned Parenthood has been breaking New Hampshire state law by dispensing thousands of dollars of prescription drugs, including Plan B and RU-486, every single day, according to a legal complaint filed by the Alliance Defense Fund. The nation’s largest abortion provider “must obey state laws that say only licensed pharmacists may distribute prescription drugs when a clinic is not under contract with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services,” said Michael Tierney, an attorney affiliated with the Alliance Defense Fund. Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) lost its contract...

April 29, 2012 (Unmaskingchoice.ca) - Member of Parliament Stephen Woodworth’s bid to examine the biology of the pre-born, Motion 312, has terrified Canada’s abortion advocates like a mirror terrifies a vampire. Leading pro-abortion activist Joyce Arthur insisted so loudly that asserting the humanity of the pre-born child is “begging the question” that she couldn’t hear the scientific consensus of embryologists and medical professionals. (She may believe that humans can give birth to the offspring of other species. Further research required.) Jane Cawthorne, the author of the “Abortion Monologues,” obliviously asked, “How can two persons reside in one body?” while asserting...

A guest writer for the New York Times has described her daydreams about the infant daughter she aborted, but says that she is thankful she has been spared the “agonizing sadness of guilt and regret” suffered by countless other post-abortive mothers, and that she doesn’t grieve the child lost to abortion. Susan Heath of New York described her gratitude for the ease of obtaining her own abortion at Planned Parenthood years ago when, after bringing four children into the world, her contraception failed. “I’m pregnant but I’m not trapped. All I had to do was call the clinic and make...

A pro-life state legislator surprised a pro-life rally in Alabama with a stark admission about his role in the abortion of his own child.According to the local Fox television station: The crowd attending the annual “Pro-Life Legislative Day” in Montgomery on Thursday got a surprise when Republican Rep. Ed Henry of Hartselle talked publicly for the first time about going with his pregnant girlfriend to have an abortion. ”I murdered my first child,” the freshman legislator told the stunned crowd.Henry, R-Hartselle, came to the rally to talk about his bill that says elective abortions can’t be part of any health...

Emily Rapp is a writer, a devoted mother, and a left-leg amputee who was once a poster child for the March of Dimes. Her son Ronan is living with Tay-Sachs, a devastating rare genetic disease. I first heard of Emily in a disheartening Time magazine article titled “Why a Mother would have aborted her son.” It sprang from a Slate article Emily wrote where she said, “I’m so grateful that Ronan is my child. I also wish he’d never been born; no person should suffer in this way—daily seizures, blindness, lack of movement, inability to swallow, a devastated brain—with no...

ROME, GEORGIA, April 17, 2012, (LifeSiteNews.com) – A 100-year-old Baptist health ministry in Georgia has withdrawn a $42,000 grant from a clinic that dispenses the morning-after pill – but a clinic spokeswoman says she is keeping the money already given. Georgia Baptist Health Care Ministry awarded the funds to the Women’s Organization for Reproductive and Total Health-care (WORTH) clinic of Rome, Georgia, to support its cervical cancer screenings, with the goal of doubling its 600 patient load. However, an unidentified minister alerted the ministry that the facility distributes the morning-after pill. Local media report that representatives of Women of WORTH...

Cost-cutting measures at Saint-Vincent Hospital's complex continuing care unit mean patients could soon be responsible for doing their own laundry. Officials at St. Vincent Hospital, which is part of Bruyère Continuing Care, said instead of using a cleaning service the continuing care unit would be installing coin-operated washers and dryers for patients and their families to use. The organization said it is $2 million in debt and needs to find savings. They are hoping family members can help the patients do their laundry after a new policy is in place starting in June.

PEORIA, Illinois, April 17, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – In a stunning homily on the weekend, an Illinois bishop slammed President Obama for his “radical pro-abortion and extreme secularist agenda” and said Catholics must line up against that agenda at the ballot box in November or else lose all her dearly-held institutions. “This fall, every practicing Catholic must vote, and must vote their Catholic consciences, or by the following fall our Catholic schools, our Catholic hospitals, our Catholic Newman Centers, all our public ministries—only excepting our church buildings – could easily be shut down,” said Bishop Daniel Jenky of Peoria at a...

As a "Pro-family" Republican Candidate: by his undeniable record fully documented below, Mitt Romney: - created RomneyCare which is terribly similar to ObamaCare but even worse for it openly funds abortion - put Planned Parenthood on the so-called "independent" board he created that offers $50 co-pay abortions - thereby instituted tax-funded abortion on demand two years after his orchestrated "pro-life" conversion - as late as summer 2011 continues to defend aborting tens of thousands of kids (denying their God-given right to life) - supported destructive embryonic research after his false 2004 pro-life conversion - put a pro-abortion Democratic judge on...

Washington Post columnist Patrick Pexton made a rather startling admission in the paper’s Sunday edition: The Post never meant for their recent story about how President Obama’s health care law expands the budget deficit to become a viral Internet sensation. In fact, they deliberately tried to bury the story. ... The story in question was titled “Health care law will add $340 billion to deficit, new study finds.” It pointed out that the administration had double-counted Medicare savings in the law and once you adjusted for that it added to the deficit rather than reducing it, as the White House...
  • Can't Feed 'Em? Don't Breed Em!

"Can't Feed 'Em? Don' Breed 'Em" - - Wonkette.com April 15, 2010 Seems like sound advice to me.Advice that even my liberal friends can agree with. I mean, isn't that what the "Pro-Choice" movement is all about? Allowing women a "choice" when a mistake is made, when that mistake rains on future plans or worse yet, when a woman cannot afford to support that mistake?Strangely enough, liberals and conservatives can reach common ground. They just disagree on how to get there. Liberals are Pro-Choice, which affords one the opportunity to "fix" a mistake, while conservatives, for the most part, are Pro-Life, preferring abstinence instead. Liberals subscribe to the belief that government should provide for their contraceptive needs, while conservatives don't believe in funding protection against one's sexual exploits. At the core, however, remains the common belief that one should not breed children if one cannot afford children. As I said,...
  • Abortion: Ayn Rand Lexicon

An embryo has no rights. Rights do not pertain to a potential, only to an actual being. A child cannot acquire any rights until it is born. The living take precedence over the not-yet-living (or the unborn). Abortion is a moral right—which should be left to the sole discretion of the woman involved; morally, nothing other than her wish in the matter is to be considered. Who can conceivably have the right to dictate to her what disposition she is to make of the functions of her own body?

The NARAL Pro-Choice America organization lashed out at the film “October Baby” for its message and methods. “Movie-goers need to be aware that this film is out-of-step with mainstream America,” NARAL spokesperson Adora Slaughter contended. “It implies that carrying a baby to term is THE right choice. It conceals the fact that one-in-four pregnancies is terminated by abortion. The notion that one-in-four women might be making the wrong choice flies in the face of Secretary Sebelius’ determination that women have the right to make this choice and that insurers must cover it regardless of any psuedo conscientious objections.” “On top...

GOP presidential front-runner Mitt Romney got back-to-back endorsements from prominent pro-life groups Thursday, signaling that anti-abortion forces will overlook his previous pro-choice positions in their shared desire to defeat President Obama in the general election. The Susan B. Anthony List threw its support behind Mr. Romney in a morning news release and National Right-to-Life, the nation’s oldest and largest pro-life organization, followed suit with a news conference at the National Press Club in Washington. “Now is the time to unite behind Gov. Romney in order to defeat the most ideologically pro-abortion president in our nation’s history,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president...

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer has signed into law a bill that bans most abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, saying it protects women and the unborn. “This legislation is consistent with my strong track record of supporting common sense measures to protect the health of women and safeguard our most vulnerable population – the unborn,” Gov. Brewer said April 12. “Knowing that abortions become riskier the later they are performed in pregnancy,” she said, “it only makes sense to prohibit these procedures past twenty weeks.” The legislation, H.B. 2036, bars abortion in cases where the unborn child is 20 weeks...

Abortionby Sebastian R. FamaThere are a variety of reasons given to justify an abortion. They include such things as I can’t afford a baby, a baby would interfere with my career, I have enough children, and the doctor said if we have this child it will be handicapped. We are told that every child should be a wanted child. But does any of this really matter? The real question is not whether a child is wanted; the real question is whether or not what is growing inside the mother is a living child. If it is not a living child, a...

Even in its second week the film posted a strong showing, claiming the No. 2...

...Obamacare even contains a clause that prevents insurance plans from letting people know about the required abortion surcharge. You won’t be notified that you’re paying into a plan that covers abortion until your time of enrollment. By then, in most cases, it’ll be too late. It’s sinister government secrecy—a bureaucratic sleight of hand—that will result in wholesale abortion-on-demand provided by the government. Take a look at the text of the law for yourself: (3) RULES RELATING TO NOTICE—(A) NOTICE—A qualified health plan that provides for coverage of [abortions other than in cases of rape, incest, or the life of the...
