PITTSBURGH, Pa. — At least 11 people were shot and two juveniles were killed in a mass shooting early Easter Sunday in the East Allegheny neighborhood of the North Side. Pittsburgh Police say they received multiple ShotSpotter alerts just after 12:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Suismon Street. When police arrived in the area, more shots were being fired and several young people were running on foot and leaving in cars from an Airbnb property at Suismon Street and Madison Avenue. Police say a large party was happening at the Airbnb with as many as 200 people in attendance....

Ashooting in downtown Sacramento early Sunday left six people dead and at least 10 wounded, police said. Authorities did not offer many details, except to say shooting occurred in the vicinity of a nightclub. Video posted on social media showed people running through the street as the sound of gunfire could be heard. Sacramento Police Chief Kathy Lester said the shooting occurred around 2 a.m. and police don’t know whether one or more suspects were involved. Christel Reyna...identified the man as her husband, 47-year-old Rafael Reyna. He's been placed on life support...The incident happened in [parking] Lot 3 just after midnight, Christel said she heard a cracking noise before her husband began moaning, the Associated Press reported. The two men were just leaving the stadium when the fight broke out, Los Angeles Dodgers spokesman Joe Jareck said.

J.J. Cale has died from a heart attack at the age of 74. The death of the legendary Grammy Award winning singer songwriter was announced on his Facebook page today. “We’ve lost a great artist and a great person tonight. JJ Cale passed away at 8:00 pm on Friday July 26 at Scripps Hospital in La Jolla, CA. He had suffered a heart attack. There are no immediate plans for services.
