1. What determines the point at which you will turn and run and abandon the citizens you have sworn to protect and serve? 2. Can you draft a policy which gives the citizens a clear understanding of when you will turn and run? This is vital to the community because they need as much notice as possible to arm, organize, and deploy to have a chance to overcome the threat. 3. Hypothetically, suppose a crowd of thousands of thugs approaches a community and you turn and run and abandon your citizens. The next day, thousands of bodies of thugs are...

Just four days after George Floyd was killed by Minneapolis Police Officer, Derek Chauvin, and the video sparked protests across the country, Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz welcomed in a few dozen African American community leaders to talk at One Government Center. Mayor Kapszukiewicz acknowledged that Toledo is 652 miles away from Minneapolis, where the incident happened that resulted in Floyd's death. But he said the video made him sick to his stomach and he made a long-term commitment to opening up communication, and having difficult conversations like he had. In front of the Safety Building after the meeting, the mayor...

The Bangladeshi-Indian restaurant, Gandhi Mahal, in Minneapolis' 3rd Precinct was burned to the ground during riots that ravaged the city Thursday night into Friday morning. The restaurant sat in the epicenter of where America's riots began following the death of George Floyd. In fact, 18-year-old Hafsa Islam, the restaurant owner's daughter, saw Floyd being arrested while she was making a Door Dash delivery. She learned later in the day that Floyd had died. Hafsa was originally upset with the fact that her family's business – and main source of income – was lost until she heard her father say, "Let...

We knew from recent rallies and riots that it’s highly likely the groups behind today’s riots are Domestic terrorists, revolutionary communists, US based radical Islamist organizations and others related to the Democrat Party. Today we have more proof this is the case. We reported a few days ago that Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar’s daughter tweeted out support for the protestors: Minnesota Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar’s daughter Isra Hirsi, retweeted a list of supplies for “comrades” who are rioting in Minneapolis. Isra Hirsi is the co-founder of US Youth Climate Strike and her Twitter bio says she ‘hates capitalism.’ Isra Hirsi...

It is day five of protests following the killing of unarmed black man, George Floyd, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the hands of a white police officer as three of his colleagues looked on. And now, as the number of demonstrators arrested continues to mount up around the country, Chrissy Teigen has pledged to help those in need of bail money. The model and television personality offered to donate $100,000 to the cause, but she has since doubled the amount to $200,000, in a clap back at people who criticized her gesture and essentially labeled protesters as criminals.

Liberal filmmaker and frequent Trump-critic Michael Moore encouraged violent protesters in Minneapolis to “revolt” and “demolish” police stations, all while accusing “White Minnesota” of tolerating the “murder” of black people. Moore’s tweets Demonstrators looted stores, clashed with police, and set stores and various buildings, including a police station, on fire in response to the killing of 46-year-old black Minneapolis resident George Floyd, who died while in police custody on Monday. The St. Paul Police Department stated that over 170 businesses were “damaged or looted” and “dozens of fires” were started.

While police in New York have been enforcing social distancing and stay-at-home orders in the last few weeks of the coronavirus pandemic, the state effectively worked to “criminalize” part of their jobs. A U.S. Attorney in New York accused Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo of “legislating obstruction” with a law that bans police from sharing Department of Motor Vehicles information with federal immigration agencies. New York’s Green Light Law was passed last year allowing a driver’s license to anyone without legal immigration status, and now the approved 2020 budget has added an eyebrow-raising amendment. While the Green Light Law prohibited the...

Earlier this week, I suggested that the United States restrict Chinese nationals from studying advanced scientific and technological subjects in our country. My suggestion prompted a torrent of abuse from the media. “It’s hard to know what triggered Cotton’s rant,” Catherine Rampell complained in The Washington Post, resorting to ad hominem cries of “xenophobia” while ignoring the crux of the matter. Not until the final paragraph did she even acknowledge the risk of Chinese espionage, blithely suggesting that we simply “prosecute such crimes.” I suppose Rampell has missed years of FBI warnings about Chinese espionage, so let me add some...

Wait, this title is misleading in that it could be read that either “reporters” or “liberals” suck, and the fact is that both suck. But reporters don’t have to suck. Liberals always do, because their trash ideology is terrible and yet they adhere to it. Reporters could be no-holds-barred truthtellers who could not care less, whose agenda they skewer or narrative they shatter in pursuit of the truth. That’s at least theoretically possible, even though most of them merely aspire to be skeevy prog transcriptionists typing out ham-handed propaganda to please their pinko masters. But if our reporters were not...

Rudy Giuliani questioned Dr. Anthony Fauci's involvement in grants from the United States to a laboratory in Wuhan, China, that has been tied to the coronavirus pandemic. According to a report, the U.S. Intelligence Community has growing confidence that the current coronavirus strain may have accidentally escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology rather than from a wildlife market, as the Chinese Communist Party first claimed. During a Sunday interview on The Cats Roundtable, Giuliani questioned why the U.S. gave money to the lab. "Back in 2014, the Obama administration prohibited the U.S. from giving money to any laboratory, including...

embers of the United States military are inadvertently funding the rise of their biggest 21st Century adversary — China — through their retirement savings, Army Green Beret and Congressman Mike Waltz (R-FL) warned in an interview this week. About $50 billion from the 401k-style plan that U.S. troops put their savings into is invested in an index that includes Chinese firms, some of which build weapons systems for the Chinese military, he said in an interview with Breitbart News on Wednesday. “It’s insane,” he said. “This is the most dangerous adversary we have ever faced.”Waltz said in a video he...

Official congratulated China for reporting no COVID-19 cases Calls are mounting in Congress for the World Health Organization's director-general to resign following allegations his group aided China's efforts to obfuscate the number of coronavirus cases in the country. WHO director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who goes by Dr. Tedros—though he is not a medical doctor—has repeatedly lauded China's measures to contain the virus despite mounting evidence the communist regime has been less than forthcoming with the international community. A classified U.S. intelligence report recently concluded China lied about its internal spread and death toll. Several Republican lawmakers told the Washington Free...

More voters say the Trump administration isn’t doing enough to combat the coronavirus outbreak, according to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll. The survey, conducted immediately before President Donald Trump announced a 30-day extension of his physical and social distancing guidelines “to slow the spread” of Covid-19, shows 47 percent of voters feel the administration isn’t doing enough in response to the outbreak, greater than the 40 percent who feel the administration is doing the right amount. Two weeks ago, 43 percent said the administration wasn’t doing enough in the days following the initial measures deployed to reduce the impacts of...

The coronavirus COVID-19 has upended everything, including business as usual in Washington. In a matter of days, facing the reality of a nationwide shutdown and a worsening economic crisis, Congress got serious about spending money—a lot of it. A recovery package in the trillions of dollars is expected soon, and more stimulus bills are likely to follow. While the most powerful lobbies in Washington—the airlines, the oil companies, the chambers of commerce—are ready with their wish lists, the media and policymakers aren’t talking enough about how recovery and stimulus bills could help journalism. Free Press, the independent, nonprofit advocacy organization...

Donald Trump’s first instinct when it came to the coronavirus was to dismiss the threat as overblown, over there, and “totally under control.” His second was to use the pandemic as an opportunity to show off his world-historical leadership skills by treating the virus as a threat on par with World War II. Both reactions were driven by politics, not evidence. The first was unquestionably wrong. The second needs to be questioned aggressively before we impose solutions possibly more destructive than the virus itself
