An 11-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Chicago while trying to protect his 33-weeks pregnant mother from her 'abusive ex-boyfriend'. Suspect Crosetti Brand, 37, was charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder in connection with the fatal stabbing on Wednesday that took the life of Jayden Perkins and left his mother, Laterria Smith, in critical condition. Brand was Smith's ex-boyfriend and on parole after being sentenced to 16 years in prison for a home invasion. Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling said that Brand had been released on parole just one day before the attack. Cook County State's Attorney...
  • Any takers? Two senators come up with a bipartisan immigration reform framework [ Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) ]

The headline is a rhetorical question. Senators Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) have come up with the framework for immigration reform. Is it something that can pass in the Senate in the lame duck session before Republicans take back control of the House in January? Nah. But, Senator Sinema can tell her constituents that she fulfilled her promise to make immigration reform her first priority after the midterm elections. There is a time crunch even if there was the support of 50 Democrats, much less 10 Republicans, which is highly unlikely. Any legislation would have to pass in...
  • Biden Campaign Takes Dark Turn [semi-satire]

In a move even the creative writers at CNN are finding hard to explain, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s campaign has taken a dark turn. First he predicted “a dark winter of disease and discontent” and told voters that “I am the only man qualified to lead America through to the other side.” Then he aired a campaign ad featuring Hitler saluting marching Nazi troops. Then to top it off he shouted “America is dead” through a bullhorn to a paltry handful of supporters at a so-called drive-by “rally” in Iowa. Finally, he bragged that “we have put together, I...
  • Gaston County Goes Against Governor's Stay Home Order, Reopens Businesses

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Gaston County leaders announced their plan to reopen businesses in the county at 5 p.m. Wednesday, going against Governor Roy Cooper's stay home order. Even though Cooper extended his order for another two weeks through May 8, Gaston officials openly said they're contradicting him with their reopening order. The county plans to "reopen for business" and is giving business owners the option to reopen as long as they practice social distancing. For example, large venues like sit-down dining and move theaters can operate under strict protocols. Gyms can reopen if they adhere to strict physical distancing...
  • Mueller hauled before secret FISA court to address FBI abuses in 2002, Congress told

Robert Mueller, the former FBI director and current special prosecutor in the Russia case, once was hauled before the nation’s secret intelligence court to address a large number of instances in which the FBI cheated on sensitive surveillance warrants, according to evidence gathered by congressional investigators. For most of the past 16 years, Mueller’s closed-door encounter escaped public notice because of the secrecy of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC). But thanks to recent testimony from a former FBI lawyer, we now have a rare window into documented abuses of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants and how the courts...

  • Hey, New York, Thanks For Socking Us With This Ridiculous "Capital Tax"

Yes, in New York, there's a "capital tax" -- a tax on money you have in the bank. New York, apparently, wants to encourage companies to take as much risk of bankruptcy as possible, by raising or retaining as little cash as possible, so it taxes them on cash they have in the bank. And we raised a whopping $3 million last summer, and we still have it in the bank. So that means we have to pay New York $10,000 of "capital tax" as punishment. Never mind that we've created 45 new jobs in New York and that most...
  • Are We Approaching The End Of The "Awkward Stage"?

As I was reading the thread titles on the main page, just now, my blood began to boil. It's clear to me that the leftist ruling class is making an all-out push to beat the American people to the finish line, and to topple this country before we can implement the reforms required to salvage our beloved republic, our economy, our sovereignty, and our traditional way of life. Claire Wolfe once famously said, "America is at that awkward stage....it's too late to work within the system, and it's too early to start shooting the bastards." I just want to know...
  • Let's take gun control to another level

Letter to the Editor: It's about time we get real about gun control in our cities. If we can have sobriety checkpoints and now motorcycle checkpoints, why don't we have cops creating gun checkpoints? Have them create checkpoints in the city where the gun violence is running rampant. Give the cops metal detectors and make people stop and get checked for guns. They are illegal and they are a lot worse than drunken drivers, and motorcyclists without the correct credentials. Let's get real here and start doing something about all these guns on our streets. If it's legal to stop...
