As recent history has shown us, when leftists don’t get their way, absolute foolishness inevitably ensues. Not surprisingly, that’s exactly what happened in the aftermath of the Friday Supreme Court ruling where a majority of Justices agreed that Roe v. Wade must be overturned. You had radical left-wing pro-abortion groups threatening violence in the streets – and carrying through in some instances. Democratic members of Congress like Reps. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) urged their supporters to get “into the streets” and “fight” in “defiance” of the ruling, using inflammatory rhetoric we’ve been assured over the last 18 months...

Green Day star Billie Joe Armstrong proclaimed '**** America' and claimed he was 'renouncing his citizenship' in wake of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn federal abortion protections. Armstrong, 50, made the declaration during a Friday night concert in London, telling the audience: 'There's too much ******* stupid in the world.' He also told the crowd he was going to move to the UK, a statement that was met with roaring applause. Armstrong's remarks came as protests erupted across the U.S. after the conservative-majority high court voted to overturn the landmark 1973 case Roe v. Wade, which held that abortion...

John McCain may be the most treasonous man who ever lived. McCain must contend with Hitler, the Marquis de Sade, Benedict Arnold, and others to claim this crown. But John surpasses them all. [....] History’s great betrayer is Judas Iscariot, who betrayed the greatest man in history. McCain betrayed the greatest nation in history. Judas marked his target with a kiss. McCain forever kisses Mexicans’ posteriors. McCain will have to settle for second place as Judas Iscariot’s malevolent handmaiden. While one killed mankind’s hope for salvation the other is in the process of killing mankind’s hope for the future. Where...

Bottom Line: Theatrical version of Green Day's acclaimed concept album will need to attract all of the band's fans it can muster. For all of the rock musicals that have appeared on Broadway in the decades since "Hair," "American Idiot" comes the closest to providing a theatrical equivalent to the music of the moment. This adaptation of Green Day's critically acclaimed and huge-selling 2004 album stays pure to its inspiration, musically and aesthetically. But in terms of dramatic impact, it falls far short of predecessors like "The Who's Tommy," and it might prove a tough sell for audiences not predisposed...

One of three "American Idol" viewers believes a vote to FOX's wildly popular talent-search program counts at least as much as voting for president, according to a new survey. Pursuant, a Washington, D.C., research firm, said 35 percent of those polled felt they were making better use of their time voting for the next Grammy hopeful than in a political election. "There is something about people who felt maybe their vote in the last elections didn't count, but with 'American Idol' . . . [they're] hoping to propel someone to stardom," said Melissa Marcello, president of Pursuant.

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan is now "channeling" her slain son, Casey, from heaven, suggesting he's calling President Bush "an idiot," and she claims to have "tens of thousands of angels" supporting her cause to bring U.S. troops home immediately. "When I get up [to heaven], he's gonna say, 'Good job, mom,'" Mrs. Sheehan said in a speech last night upon her return to Crawford, Texas. "He's not going to say, 'Why'd you make me spin in my grave?' you know. And I can just hear him saying, 'George Bush, you are really an idiot. You didn't know what you were...

In 1997, Michale Graves, then lead singer for the horror punk rock group the Misfits, found himself on tour in Germany at the site where the Berlin Wall once stood. He took home with him a piece of that wall and with a few years' time, a bold commitment to fighting the mindset that built it. Punk rock is all about resisting the establishment. But punk rock itself has an establishment that is driven by Left wing, anti-war, anti-life, anti-faith politics. To scream, as Green Day does in its new CD "American Idiot," "I'm not a part of a redneck...

"Artistry serves humanity by preserving the genius of vision, the wisdom of scholars, and the absurdity of fools." - Boes Dedicated to Billie Joe Armstrong Paying homage to the posterboy of boorish insult (reference ), I will answer the sophmoric angst of a naked generation of the absurdly alternative as expressed through a contemporary troop of contrived zeros, by dedicating a previously recorded argument to their green-necked bigotry and feckless stupidity (reference ). (Originally recorded in September 2003, the following statement was the culmination of an ongoing debate with an associate. We'll call him Marilyn. I believe his view would...
