(Legal Editor Note: Not long ago, the Left had a monopoly on rallies and protests. Republicans and conservatives, more enamored with scholars instead of brawlers, shunned displays of political muscle in the streets. That’s all changed. A few months ago, Attorney General Eric Holder went to the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin, Texas, to announce an aggressive attack on state election integrity measures like Voter ID. This election-year strategy is designed to stoke the leftist base but risks alienating everyone else. To greet Holder that day were hundreds of citizens at a rally sponsored by True the Vote. I...

Named after the first person to die in the Revolutionary War, the Crispus Attucks Tea Party was founded Tuesay, January 18th, 2011, at "This Is It" soul food restaurant in the heart of Houston, Texas' 3rd district. (Read the interesting original court documents about the "Boston Massacre," including a dramatic description of Attucks' slaying, here.) The 3rd district is Represented by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, and was the...

HOUSTON - It's a tea party unlike any Houston, and perhaps the entire country, has ever seen. The first Black Tea Party held its inaugural meeting Tuesday night in the Third Ward. Organizers of the Crispus Attucks Tea Party are quick to point out that anyone is welcome and it's not a political party. Their mission statement reads in part: "To build a strong base of conservative Black entrepreneurs, elected officials and constituents that provide Black conservatives a viable way to express and implement their conservative values politically." Co-founder Anita Moncrief says the party is also looking to overcome stereotypes....

ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief, the brave young woman whose conscience wouldn't allow her to cover to ACORN's criminal activity while she was in its employ, has started a new venture. A website dedicated to rooting out government corruption called www.EmergingCorruption.com was launched last weekend headed by Anita and a cadre of writers and researchers (myself being one of them). Emerging Corruption is a political news website that provides to the public information and investigations into ACORN and other center-left enterprises. The news website will investigate and expose historically corrupt special interest organizations and will feature information and investigations into organizational...

Last week’s America’s Future Now Conference, hosted by the Campaign for America’s future, attracted progressive groups from around the country, including MoveOn, SEIU, ACORN’s Project Vote and politicians such as Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Representative Barbara Lee. Despite ongoing investigations by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and voter fraud allegations in several states, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now or ACORN continues to maintain its innocence regarding the undercover videos that led to the “dissolution” of the national group. Prominent politicians like Pelosi and Lee have been willing to lend their credibility to ACORN and other...

If elections were like football games, this would be your two minute warning. All of the passion, energy and renewed interest in politics that propelled the tea party movement of 2009 opens the door to a new level of involvement. As patriot groups around the country prepare for the November 2010 elections, a quiet force has been building behind the scenes. Investigative reporter Carol Greenberg’s work inside Obama’s Organizing for America has already helped expose the OFA’s connection to ACORN and its network of top Democrat party insiders. Greenberg’s latest article explains the OFA plan to deploy rapid response teams...

I do not often reprint full articles written by others. But having been involved in exposing ACORN as the anti-Civil American rights, socialist organization it is for two years, I cannot let Anita MonCrief's expose of ACORN suffer anything less that as much exposure it can possibly get. Already Anita's latest work has been reprinted by HotAir.com, and examined by American Thinker's Thomas Lifson. Anita MonCrief according to her facebook page, is "a blogger and writer in Washington, DC. She attended the University of Alabama. She has worked with the American Bar Association Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative; the...

Anita Moncrief has written a worthwhile personal account of her involvement with ACORN, and effectively lays out the entire strategy the Alinksy left, and its chosen instrument, Barack Obama, to "fundamentally change" America. Moncrief describes the moment in 2008, when she went from unwitting to witting, in terms of the strategy to make America into a people's socialist republic. As an ACORN insider my indoctrination as a socialist was a slow but steady progression from radical liberalism to embracing the stealth socialist methods that had made ACORN a powerful force in American electoral politics. Two years ago, in the mist...

Inside ACORN Allie Winegar Duzett, November 5, 2009 Often we hear about the corruption of ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. While many of ACORN’s members are corrupt, a few have the courage to speak for truth and virtue. Anita MonCrief is one of those people. MonCreif told her story at Accuracy in Media’s 40th Anniversary Conference, held on October 23, 2009. “In spring of 2007, after noticing a pattern with ACORN and how they were treating employees regarding voter registration fraud especially, I contacted the Employment Policies Institute,” she said. “They run a site called RottenACORN.com....

It started as a rumor told by insiders to media. Insiders believed that all the revelations were making the ACORN brand so toxic that they may have to change it. Then, ACORN Intl. changed its name and they thought that was an indication they were. Of course ACORN Intl. is NOT ACORN. Yet, for whatever reason, that's how it was reported by Washington Examiner columnist Kevin Mooney. Moonedy has been on television speaking about ACORN.

Bottom line: ACORN has been improperly coordinating with and operating as an arm of the Obama campaign, and "the Senator from ACORN"'s involvement with ACORN has been much more than his lawful representation of ACORN in the motor voter case years ago.

My exclusive interview with ACORN whistleblower Anita Moncrief On April 4 I wrote about the testimony of Heather Heidelbaugh who appeared before Congress to speak about the various shady, if not criminal, actions perpetrated by ACORN (the Association of Community Activists for Reform Now) and its Project Vote offshoot over the last few years -- and especially during the late campaign for the White House. There was vote fraud and financial misdealings galore and it was all perpetrated by a group intimately tied to presidential candidate Barack Obama. Not only that, but it seemed the Old Media was trying to...

More than half the voter registrations turned in by ACORN canvassers during the last election were not valid, according to testimony to be presented before a House Judiciary subcommittee. The testimony is from Anita MonCrief, a former employee of an affiliate of the Association of Community Organizations. MonCrief, who was fired for improperly charging personal expenses to the ACORN affiliate, originally testified under oath as part of a request by the Republican State Committee in Pennsylvania for an injunction against ACORN. The request was denied. The FBI has been investigating the liberal community organizing group for possible voter registration fraud....
