  • Vanity - Harassing phone calls from "Prolixus"

Over the last few weeks I have been received up to 5 calls a day from these fraudsters from the "Prolixus" people. They call claiming to be from the "Prolixus Identity Protection Center" and they claim that I contacted them earlier for a call back. Well the problem is their product is a "male enhancement" product and I am female. This doesn't seem to stop them from calling me for what seems like ALL of the time. I have on several occasions demanded to talk to a supervisor who then assured me I would be taken off of their list...

Earlier this week conservative columnist Ben Shapiro came up with his list of the 5 most annoying Republicans<-----(here). Its a mighty fine list too, but I'm going to focus on his number one choice since she also happens to be my top pick. Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the most annoying Republican of all? This cover, corrected with Photoshop from the version that hit bookstores, was originally found at iOwnTheWorld This is going to be a tough post for me because there is already so much great stuff out there that has been said about her...such as... It...

On screen, many of these celebrities entertain us—they make us laugh and make us cry. But when they turn political, what was once a fun, entertaining, and dare I say quasi-intelligent celebrity, turns into the most annoying, irritating dullards we’ve ever come across. Normally, their silly political beliefs would be cast aside—we wouldn’t even hear about them! But due to their celebrity, we’re forced to endure their stupidity. Here are eight celebrities, in descending order, whose fat mouths we can certainly do without. 8. I see this skinny blonde with her grating voice now and then. She was on O'Reilly tonight. Who is she? Who pays her to run around bashing the fat and thinking up government schemes to control their behavior? I wikied her, I googled, there's some out there who claim she's an MD. I figure there's someone on FR who can inform me.

  • Soothing Parrot Sounds

You May Want To Pass This On To Your Enemies....I’ll admit that sometimes I may get on my parents’ nerves, especially when I bark incessantly at the children getting off the school bus. But compared to this parrot, I could bark for 24 hours straight and still be considered the lesser of two evils. Take a look and see what you think....http://boknowsonline.com/2008/06/18/soothing-baby-parrot-sounds/

March 9, 2007 For people who have trouble dealing with an alarm clock telling them it’s time to get up, here’s one potential solution – it’s an alarm clock that runs away and torments you until you get up. When Clocky was just a design concept it received a lot of attention, but now it’s a real product. When the alarm sounds, Clocky will start beeping. You can set him to run away immediately the alarm sounds, or you can set it to snooze once for your chosen number of snooze minutes and if you don't get up, Clocky will...

Registered voters are very popular with campaign workers in the final hours before the mid-term election. Both the Democrats and Republicans in Pima County put an army of volunteers to work as the deadline drew closer. The politically passionate citizens were working the phones, dialing for votes in a last minute rush to get their candidates into office. They do it every election year but this year reports show political candidates are running more ads and making more calls than ever before. They believe it'll bring out the vote, but some voters say it's making them think about skipping the...

"Star Wars: The Phantom Menace alien Jar Jar Binks has been voted the most annoying film character of all time. In a poll of 5,000 movie fans by UK website LoveFilm.com, the computer generated Binks beat out competition from Andie MacDowell's character, Carrie, in Four Weddings And A Funeral. Third most irritating is Rowan Atkinson's Bean, followed in fourth place by Jim Carrey's Ace Ventura: Pet Detective character. In fifth place is Ben Stiller's White Goodman in Dodgeball."

I am curious why none of the media covers the most important aspect of the Malvo shootings. If you look at Newspapers on the dates when the shootings are underway you discover something I find quite interesting. The shootings begin to dominate the news the day before the debate on the Iraq war starts and they catch them the day after the declaration of war??? If you ask most people "do you remember the debate about starting the second Iraq war", they will all answer "yes of course". But if you followup with the question "name one point in the...
