A woman supporting Joe Biden was blasted on social media for saying she forced her dying father to vote for him. A video posted to Twitter on Sunday shows the woman holding up cards explaining how she got her father, apparently a lifelong Republican, to change his mind. “My 55-year-old conservative dad has never voted Democrat in his LIFE,” the cards said. “He’s dying of Aplastic Anemia. We’ve had some intense exchanges about him voting for Trump this year, which has been painful, since we’ll almost certainly lose him in the next few weeks/months.”

Imagine being diagnosed with a potentially fatal illness when you're just 26-years-old and a newlywed. But your one chance at survival is threatened because of a hurricane. That's what happened to a Dallas woman last year. Thui Diem Tran visits the hospital every month, but she doesn't mind. Doctors at UT Southwestern just saved her life. Tran is recovering from aplastic anemia, a potentially fatal condition. Less than a month after her wedding, Tran went from healthy, happy bride to a woman whose bone marrow had shut down…a woman who had just days to live unless doctors could find a...

Soldiers shouldn't be guinea pigs Posted: April 12, 2005 1:00 a.m. Eastern Editor's note: Eilhys England contributed to this column. © 2005 WorldNetDaily.com The presidential commission looking into the cluelessness of U.S. intelligence regarding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq recently issued its report to banner headlines that should cause every member of the American military to take a long second look at the need for – not to mention the safety of – the big-bucks "emergency" anthrax vaccination program still being pushed by the Department Of Defense. Because the acknowledgment of this disastrous intelligence failure rips the guts right...

SEATAC, Wash. -- More than a decade ago, Capt. Al Haynes saved 185 lives when he crash-landed a DC-10 in Sioux City, Iowa, after its center engine exploded. Now he's trying to save one more. His daughter, Laurie Haynes Arguello, has aplastic anemia, a condition in which her bone marrow cannot produce enough white or red blood cells. She needs a marrow transplant, and although she has a donor lined up, she doesn't have the $156,000 that her insurance will not pay. So she and her dad, accompanied by 25 of their friends, have started raising money. In two weeks...
