Bemusement at the Left. Today, our troops turned out about 15 to their 25. Their signs were small and illegible. Ours, thanks to the resources available on FR, were bright and to the point. Hey Freepers, On May 17th, operation yellow ribbon is organizing a biggie on the Lincoln Monument. I went on Military Pride and found operation yellow ribbon. There are 2 hotels offering specials until 4-18. They are going to offer free shuttles to the march. I personally have never been to such an event but this one I am passionate about. check it out. Today Saturday was a great day for America and a very bad day for the pencil necked tofu eating gender challenged cowardly appeasenik terrorist lovers. At Veterans Park today the Pro America Rally was cancelled. It was a cold overcast ice-rainy slushy day, that had been preceeded by an even worse thunder and lightening ice storm night. Ventura County loves its troops! There was a very successful rally held at the Port Hueneme Naval Base today at the corner of Channel Islands and Ventura. This rally was organized by friends and families of our brave troops and was truly a grassroots effort. Over 100 people attended - include some of our freepers! A platoon of Junior Marines came over and have a loud HOORAA, Papa John's brought over pizza and somebody else dropped off a ton of cookies! Today ten members and lurkers from the Houston Chapter of FR (H.A.T.) gathered for another show of support of our troops, our country, and our President. Today's event was familiar surroundings for many of them, as the place was the Galleria, site of many Election 2000 Freeps. We regret to inform our freezing friends up North, but with sunny skies and temperatures in the low 80's, winter has finally left Houston for good. I arrived at the Stop and Shop Plaza on route 35 in Keyport NJ at about 3:10 pm. Keyport is in Monmouth County, about half an hour or so from NYC. The guest speaker (and organizer) was to be Guardian Angels founder and WABC 770 AM radio personality Curtis Sliwa. Curtis was late, as he was coming from a previous rally in Fieldsboro (?sp?) NJ, the mayor of which gained notoriety for banning public displays of flags or yellow ribbons on public property. there is a pro-america rally every saturday in medford square in massachusetts (9:30 - noonish). i went for the first time on today (04-05-03) and it was great even with the rain, snow, and sleet. FReepers come from all over, even as far as New Hampshire. come on down, bring the family. thanks all.

April 5, 2003 at Hot Springs, Arkansas from 1300-1500 there was a SUPPORT out TROOPS Rally! We had aprooximately 200 supporters at one time, but there were people coming and going so I would estimate amybe around 300 max. Not big, but not too bad considering the location of the rally and no signs giving directions. This was off the main roads. Pictures? The Fires of Hell await us, Brothers and Sisters of the Freep.
